WTF with Leo? It's weird seeing 80's Leo stabbing someone with actual blood dripping out. But then again, this game is darker overall. It almost felt like the game was going with the Mirage vibe but disguising it as being based on the 80's cartoon.
well it did feature karai, who wasn't in the show at all afaik
It’s almost like the IDW comics many years before they actually became a thing.
It was based on the 80s comic book
Awesome. Codes+moves! Like to make some corrections:
Triceraton's like Blanka, as he has horizontal and vertical rolls->[Charge]D, U + A/B.
Krang's rockets are QCF + A/B (standard fireball). His knee rockets are QCB + A/B (like Ryu's hurricane kick).
Karai's spear [ →, ←, → + A/B] can be glitchy. In a hot battle, trying to press the keys fast freeze her, or cause her to walk in place [foe may attack or just block]. Many of her hits dizzy, 1-hit, like her close kick, and her throw has range!
Kano has cannonball attacks too, don't forget him!
It's like after Raph, Leo and Don they ran out of ideas for super moves
Raph's super was basically Mikey's super in the SNES adaptation
@@figment1988 I liked Casey's too. Also, I think Triceraton has a super attack too, where he lunges and repeatedly slams the opponent, which means Krang and Karai might have one too.
But yeah, half were really pathetic final smashes. I wish the game was a bit more accessable and polished, it easily could have used a command list and better modes (who seriously beats 88 opponents in a row?). Also, the Speed/Power thing makes no sense, you're more powerful with both at 8/8 but slow as hell. Kinda weird storyline having Krang without Shredder, but then dip into the comic lore and have Karai as the final boss.
Does anyone else get the feeling that April in this version was meant to be Mitsu from the third film, but got her name changed after the film bombed? Because that does not look like April *at all.* (The same thing happened to Aska from the SNES version as well, only there's actual confirmation that her name was originally "Mitsu".)
That’s really interesting. But I wonder how they were gonna explain about Mitsu cont to the present day…
I remember reading the manual as a kid and it telling you oh we have these overs that are out of this world but we thinks it's more fun if u figure them out yourself.....never did
Krang and Karai also had secret basement stages, but they were pretty hard getting to I understand their disclusion. Also, I recall Triceraton doing a lunge and repeatedly slam you, which may have been a desperation attack.
I've managed to pull off Triceraton's stomping move 4 times by accident. It is indeed a desperation attack. I believe the command is Half circle back + C, however I'm using an Xbox 360 controller so it doesn't register most of the time.
Update: It's Back, Half circle back + C.
Where's karais and krangs desperation moves theyre in the game
Had this game as a kid. Never knew about the desperation moves
LEONARDO WINS!
FATALITY!
Karai & Krang also had secret stages. I wonder why they didn't show those.
Desperation moves were a thing? Also man I remember hating the last boss’s laugh. Girl could be almost impossible to beat sometimes.
Kinda like the Fatal Blows in MK11. I know this game's long before that, but it would remind some people.
I never could perform those moves.
I always wondered what Casey was saying.
Chicken or kick it?
Damn never knew about this. Game Genie for bosses though?
0:05 WTF was that!!? A fatality in Turtle ninja game? D:
Забыли про секретку арены в битве с Караи
FREAKING AWESOME GAME !!!!!!
These desperation moves are weak compared to the SNES ones. Although this version does have Krang and Casey.
No have you played it? Have you tried it it does too much damage.
I think the super Nintendo version is a little bit better but the Sega Genesis version had better character selection I feel. The super Nintendo did have the rat king though why that was an awesome character
@@miamimagicians
Genesis is better in any way.
I agree about the SNES version
@@ryandiggs750
Play the Genesis for you to understand.
Amazing!
always liked the ost for this version waaaaay more than the SNES version. the Krang and Casey themes alone are amazing. The SNES version looks and has better sound quality tho, as expected. but musically.... Genesis all the effing way.
Back in the day tmntnever had a bad game
@@miamimagicians big facts... and even if they weren't amazing, they were at least good.
Those are literally my two favorite tracks
Da secret stages o' dis game almost remind me of Mortal Kombat when u uppercut 'em through da roof! Except ur throwin' 'em down!
Second off, I wish da SNES version had Krang in it as a playable character.
I thought it was really cool the super Nintendo version had the rat king
Yeah, SNES had Shredder and Rat King, Genesis had Casey and Krang, honestly all seem pretty important. I wouldn't think a common Triceraton a boss in lore, but he's insane in this game. I honestly think this roster might be more interesting, even though the total is 11 compared to 12, you also get to play as April.
Oh.. the Genesis version..
Why do you say that? It looks really good
@@miamimagicians
Yeah right it is the king version compared to the inferior snes version.
@@miamimagicians no, it definitely doesn't.
@@miamimagicians Guess you've never played the Super Nintendo version. That or you've got REALLY bad taste.
Oh the sega version is not better I’m just saying it’s not that bad.
How can you do the DA's without getting away from your enemy?
Leonardo has a fatality!
TMNT TOURNAMENT FIGHTERS GENESIS
I did some special moves and I knew secret stages I never knew how to play as bosses on sega version
none of the desperation is not obtained. Even the light from Casey. The second week of agony.: (
how to get the boss player i try but not work i vent i defeat all boss
I think you need a Game Genie to play as the bosses here.
NO Shredder?
Shredder is in the snes Version
Looks like in this version, Krang takes his place.
On what console is this game?
Sega genesis
BINGO
Wow I use to own this game...always wanted to play as the bosses. Sucks.
no Shredder in this one that disappointed me when I was little and still does lol
Shredder died during that time and Karai was the new leader of the foot clan so she is the boss here.
Shredder is Present as a playable Character in the Snes Version tho
Krang takes his place here.
А как они делаются ?
SNES version was better.

Ops, looks like someone reuploaded your video ruclips.net/video/PLjsJa4Booo/видео.html
SEGA FIGHTERS
no Krang on the snes version hmm wtf
porque se rien
This game was terrible
This game is garbage
your name and youtube account is TOTAL TRASH.
@@awakenedsoul2638 lol butthurt
@@burntyper
How? Because you can't defeat the AI of this game so you say this is garbage? HAHAHAHAHAHA. This is the king the snes version is inferior with washed up graphics and 8 bit trash sound.
@@awakenedsoul2638 keep typing bro, lol
Nada que ver con el TF de SNES. Esta versión de Sega es horrible, lenta y sus animaciones son un cáncer ocular. Me quedo con SNES.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters NES was 10000 times better, design, music, gameplay...and now, just look how they ruined the great game.
NES version? Are you sure about that?
Albert Wesker snes and Genesis version on 1993, nes version 1994
gameboyadvance45 I know there's a NES version. My question was regarding how could possibly the NES version be 10000 times better than the Mega Drive version regarding design, music, gameplay. That statement simply doesn't make any sense. Probably he meant the SNES version (which still, at least in the music department is inferior to the Mega Drive one) so that's why I asked.
