Even if the Sonic Generations part of SxSG is exactly the same, I bet reviewers will give the remaster a lower review score than the OG Gens got.
Hell we know it’s not gonna be exactly the same as they’re adding more content like the Chao missions, and maybe more stuff too. Not to mention the entire Shadow part of the game. I’ll bet money that SxSG is gonna have a lower review score, even if it is objectively better
Depends if the game is actually good or not since sonic has a bad job of doing that

When IGN gives Sonic Dream Team a better score than most critics, it's because something is wrong. And apparently it's not the game.

I'm going to be honest, i think SEGA should remember that SONIC is also part of this game and if they're going to slap a full price tag on this game i don't think they should just focus on the Shadow side of it. Since OG Generations we got Lost World, Forces and Frontiers so i wouldn't mind seeing a stage for Sonic and Classis Sonic from these three games added to the sonic's campaign. Frontiers stage might be a bit tricky since it's basically just open world but i'm sure they'd be able to figure out something.
They could also add new Classic Sonic stages like Press Garden from Mania or even some Superstars stages.

Ok so I’ve never played generations but the movement when u boost and hit enemies is nice that’s what I mainly liked abt gens and the drifting looks cool. But for shadow gens it looks more modern so like maybe it’s gonna be better. Maybe sonic gens is fun for like how fast it goes but since shadow is like more combat based then he obviously has speed but also has like combat.

Bro needs to play different copy of unleashed because I never saw the game lag that bad before every copy of it most people played is usually an smooth 30 fps on original hardware and 60 fps on Xbox series x . what the heck is wrong with your copy dude that game deserves better than that , you deserve a better unleash experience than that.

Could have done better for sonic and classic sonic because in my opinion, the game is not fitting the story and with shadows gameplay, like I would give sonic and classic sonic the same hedgehog engine two and the same cinematic stuff but still overall it’s good but they still could’ve change a lot for sonic and classic sonic

im playing unleashed on a 360 i've had since i was 4 years old and ive never ever had that bad of a performance issue with any game
Being worse than the original is quite the achievement Sonic Colors surprisingly achieved. So I would say X Shadow Generations will fail in that regard.

The exact same is better than not mastering a version with significantly improved graphics I guess. I just hope if they sacrificed big graphic improvements, it's for a good reason like better performance.

2:36 I’m sorry I completely disagree. Modern Sonic in gens is SOOOOO stiff. Sonic’s controls in Unleashed feel much better because the levels are better designed for its gameplay style. Playing on series X makes it much more apparent since there aren’t any performance issues.

By default Sonic X Shadow Generations will be worse than the original. But it's only because the original has 13 years worth of mods for it.
I know its a cheap move to bring up mods, but you can't really ignore that elephant in the room when talking about Generations.
