The H2 engine wasn't dangerous. It was thrilling and 'could' add to the danger of the horrible handling but, the engine was fairly predictable, especially if you'd grown up on 2 strokes like I had.
The biggest problem with the Combat engines in the '72 Norton was the bearings. Once they were replaced with Superblend bearings, they ran great. I miss the one I had. It got totaled by a 79 year old blue-hair in a Buick.
C'était la 500 KAWA la fraiseuse de veuve ,pas de freins cadre à géométrie variable, la 750 H2 était une bonne moto j'ai rouler avec les 2 dans les année 70 .
I ran a XS750E for many years until one day it ate its cam chain slider rubber - The shaft Drive never gave an issue - if it had a fault I'd say in the rain its disc's would aquaplane and were useless and at speed in an S bend the Frame around the steering head would twang - A thirsty brute
I had a GPZ 750 Kawasaki great bike, and I loved it. I wish I'd kept it. You knew when the power was at. People would cash because some were looking at the boost gauge come up. 😆
A person who lets oil leaks develop to the point of being dangerous to ride their motorcycle should never be allowed near one until he/she has done a proper operation and function school plus a motorcycle maintenance school.

9:00. I had a 1969 R 69 S in Arizona and never had heating problems. That bike was bullet proof.

As for the Indian rider carrying spare crankshaft bits.... How was he supposed to do a complete engine strip in the arse end of nowhere?
I was wondering that myself..😂😅
with just a few tools . very easy to change on this simple engine

11:30. Every Triumph I ever had was oil tight when I got done with it.
My Brother had a Water Buffalo with twin discs on the front. I. Called it a "Water Buffalo with Rabies". It was fast.

I had a suspicion the H2 was going to be on here and it was number one lol.
And it shouldn't even be on here. It was the H1 500 that was a handful.
