Video showing all secrets I know (alt. paths and saving girls don't count). Some are well-known, others are less so. If I missed anything, please contribute.
One thing you missed: re-entering some of the rooms immediately after rescuing a maiden will give you a bunch of stuff. It doesn't work for Maria. It works for everyone else, but it only technically works for Annette because you can't revisit her room without dying or starting the stage over (you need another key).
You missed the Extra Large Heart/Giant Heart on Stage 3'. If you continue jumping to the top platforms (4:20 mark in this video), then it can be found at the far right end. It's hidden within the rock and it awards the player 50 hearts. There is a hidden meat on Stage 4, as well. If you take the upper path (secret staircase guarded by a Flea Man), then you can find it at the end of the hallway with the short swinging spikes, Flea Men, and Axe Armor.
Just purchased this game recently and so far worked to the left side of the clock tower and I find it difficult and your video is helpful and interesting thanks!
Always wanted to know what the purpose for that big green rectangle inside of that hidden room behind the engine was for, had a theory it might have been a coffin or something?

Stage 2' (not Stage 2). The stage actually has three different exits and this video misses the other secret one. The other one is more important too since it leads to the Bone Golem boss fight allowing you to continue down the alternate stage (#') path. The other two exits put you back on the normal path.
Ha, don't pretend to know everything ! Shi no Keikoku (シノケイコク) means (死の渓谷) Deadly Valley, Canyon. You should go to specialists of Japanese for the best results !

2 things missed. 1 is The BOMB in the dungeon (a wayto Carmilla), 2 is the ELEVATOR in the chapel. Nice video!

Word was it was a door that was supposed to lead somewhere, but was never given a purpose, so the devs left it in as just decoration.

Christopher Richardson Item crash? Press Select with enough item points.
irobotpsyd Some of those were necessary for alternate exits and do affect your progress.
