- On April 15, 2023, the 'Getting After It' Greg Pierzchala Memorial Ride took place in Dunnville, Haldimand County. More than 200 OPP, first responders and community members were in attendance for the event held in memory of OPP Constable Greg Pierzchala who was killed on December 27, 2022, while responding to a call of a motor vehicle in a ditch in Hagersville.
"Getting after it" was a phrase that Greg often used to motivate himself and others around him.
