  • Let’s explore three different plug-and-play off grid power options for RVing: Car Generator, Solar Generators, and Dual Fuel Inverter Generators. Each has its pros and cons, with Car Generator being convenient and quiet but tied to your vehicle, Solar Generators being easy to use but expensive and has some bugs, and Dual Fuel Inverter Generators being reliable but requiring maintenance and potentially being noisy at high loads. These options offer flexibility for different camping situations and each fills a different power requirement while traveling in your RV. ↘️↘️Click “SHOW MORE” below to open the full video description! ↙️↙️

I have been working on coming up with power options for boondocking while on the road during some trips. We generally harvest host our travel stops and some aren't generator friendly so I picked up a Bluetti AC200MAX. I was quickly shown that I will need at least 1 200 watt solar panel to keep it running for an overnight. I have a Firman inverter generator that I've modified to run off my campers propane, and added a propane quick connect on the driver side of the camper, which saved us on our trip to Gulf Shores this year. I'm optimistic about the Bluetti once I get some solar though

I love the propane quick connect for our gennies too! Hope the increase in solar gives you the results you're looking for!

At 5:10 I see you are camping at The Campers Hub in Montrose Colorado. I am from Montrose, I would recognize those mountains anywhere 😁

Keen eye! Yupp Scott & Taylor hosted us for an RV Entrepreneur event there right after they bought the place and having those solar panels allowed us to campout in the field before they had any services!

A big factor for a lot of people is going to be the ability to run air conditioning while boondocking. I'm guessing the tandem gas generators are the only thing up to that task?

Have to size the generator output to the AC requirements - adding a softstart to the actual AC unit reduces the power surge on startup and allows a single AC to be run off a single 2000w genny or some folks have gotten dual ACs running off 3500w if both units have softstarts installed

All are beat by the ecoflow delta pro

Delta pro has a 30amp plug right in it, takes like 1600watts of solar charge u can charge it with an ev charger, its expandable to 25kw so you can add on to it as your needs change. And when camping season is over you can use it at home. Requires no fuel and no special wiring. 3600 watts of power and silent operation. Its expensive but nothing will beat it
