I thank you so frickin much you helped me so much I was feeling so HOPELESS I couldn't belt a c5 and then I did the bending knees and it just came out. THANKYOU 😪
Laurel Chanté - Yeah, warm up properly in your lower register first (it’s easier to relax there), then your higher registers, then pick a song that uses the notes you want hit, then hum the notes, then sing the notes using vowels, then apply the techniques mentioned in the video while singing the song.
Check out this guy .. He does seven C5 high notes, high chest full voice open mouth, rounded, clear, in improvisation part back to back...min 4:15 and up. ruclips.net/video/6iYB4BiaYWw/видео.html
I can't sing a note, but I love listening to music - experiencing it. This is a great vid for comprehending how singers accomplish their craft. I now understand why Courtney Hadwin leans foward and bends her knees when hitting the high notes. Suggestion: Show clips of various artists using the techniques you teach - if copyright laws allow. I think they do.
I just found your channel for the first time this morning, and in the first five seconds you're already giving me proof that you can sing! Thank you for making it easy to subscribe! Ha ha.
The first one way actually very (weirdly) helpful I never thought of using other muscles other than my abdomen area when it comes to singing certain notes
Jasmine Marie As far as I believe, Renee was the first to take it up the last note from the E5 up to G5. Could be wrong, there’s so many people in the world singing this song.
This is going to sound weird but the butt clenching one felt me 😂 I think I have a good voice but these improved my singing in ONE MINUTE by keeping the larnyx straight and clenching my butt!!
It all depends on what level you’re at and how much training you’ve had and might not work instantly. You most likely need more training for proper support, proper placement, strengthening your vocal registers, increasing range etc.
I have a lot of trouble belting in general, I tend to feel like I am yelling. But then when I pull back I feel like I am fully singing in my head voice (I'm a soprano so I think it is because my head voice is my "comfort zone/safe space") I am unsure how to fix it because it sounds horrible with certain songs to sing either of these ways and I can't find the middle ground between these.
I know this is an old video! but I wanna learn to sing problem by ariana grande and the high note. But whnever I do it I break into head voice and its bad and not the G5 belt ;c what do I do... It also cracks, can you do a vid on how to sing that song? if possible since it includes a very high belt which you reached in the beggining.
@@akhilshah6508 the majority of people who “belt” in those higher notes aren’t actually belting, they are using their mix, so u ain’t gonna find that luvs

Thanks Julia 💕
Thanks for this video, it's really helping
So I just now tried humming the high note part on Titanium the nightcore version while leaning forward while my back was straight, and it didn't work.

If i sing b3 loudly and supported, is it a belt? As i know, notes from f4 are considered belted
It's not belt it's head voice in top note
Berezina vocal do you know what belt means ? It is not chest voice. Read the definition
Its a falsetto. Not a mix voice, not belting either.
Uh. No.
I can belt strongly till and G#5 ,but sumtimes I don't know if im singing it too loud smh
