I was reluctant to join another company because I love my primary company and I felt a subconscious loyalty to them. In the last month, I lost a teaching and tutoring contract one after the other. I thought as long as I had at least 2 jobs/contracts that I would at least have a backup, but nope. It's been really hard, but I'm trying to look for other opportunities and stay positive. Thanks for this video.

I have multiple streams from affiliate marketing. I am creating courses for online freelance teachers. I still work for three online companies but as a recruiter but those are a small part of my business. The courses and affiliate income are a larger part. I love that it allows me to think outside of the box and be creative daily. Investing in my mentors (Nancy Taylor and Amy Porterfield) are the best investments I’ve ever made for me and my business. Also I can ride my horses. 😉
We might not have direct bargaining power with any one company but our ultimate bargaining power is the ability to flex and adapt. There is a lot of competition vying for our skills. Thank you for your encouragement and energy. Especially that energy!
It could start with working for multiple companies while you grow a brand or alternate stream of income of your own! Don't feel like you have to do it all, but you can most definitely start creating multiple streams of income!

Hi! You can try teaching on Preply or Italki. Both companies are teacher marketplaces and you can offer any class you want, basically you're a tutor. I know that Preply has some premade lessons for you to use and even offer a student placement test. You set your own hourly rates and availability for both companies. Hope it helps! 😁

Having had to leave a previous job abruptly, I do appreciate you picking yourself up and continuing. Funny enough, things tend to work out, times can be tough, but sometimes it's worth it in the end.

I use to have a contract with VipKid too and I’m glad I have a great extra stream of income as well helping a lot of people!
