Never look down on anybody... Trust me when I say an addict who relapses hates themselves more than you can ever imagine. There's nothing you can say to them That's worse than the things that already say to themselves. So try to help them instead of hurt them even more.

I listened to this song sitting in rehab on the porch, then in sober living on the porch. Now im fighting a different battle.
2 years 9 months clean. With a new baby on the way.
I am alive again.

I am not hurting people or myself anymore.

Trust, its hard for ones that haven't been down this road & they cant fully grasp the battle of all the ones out there that knows exactly how it feels.. We dont want to be like this.. We dream of better days & beg for light & hope to come & sometimes does.. & then doesn't.. We dont purposely dont want to hurt anyone & feel ashamed & guilty for the things we do. Bro, I can’t even put into words. I stumbled across this song today, and it’s fucking changed my life in 3 minutes. It’s given me the strength to change directions with my addiction. Today is the start of a new way of life I haven’t stepped foot in the gym in 2 years. I haven’t stepped outside unless I HAD to in 2 years. This song has given me hope in 3 minutes to change everything. I hope you keep writing these songs bro because you have no idea how much impact positive your words have.

The song hits home with me bro... made me miss my dad. He died 5 years ago this March, after a long battle with his addiction to pain pills, alcohol, and depression. Many of the lyrics were things he would say or we would talk about. Brother I dont know why your not signed yet but keep making your music. Because unlike the mainstream shit out there... your music changes lives...
