I remember my sister showed this song to me on Christmas last year, she sat me down and looked me in the eye and explained some of her struggles to me and goes "I can't explain everything to you now but i can see you're going through some stuff others can't see and this song just reminds me of you" she played the song and held my hand singing along to me in the dark. But got through it and finally like who I am and where I'm at and still working on forgiving myself and others that hurt me to the point I just numbed the pain away.
