This song is timeless. Hidden for 20 years, appearing just like that, hitting you hard and leaving you in tears, showing just how much we've LOST with Chester.

it's crazy how you can miss someone that you never met but always heard his voice. This song brought me a lot of emotions, and the feeling of loss is what stands out the most.
It's hard listening to his songs sometimes.. it's like I can hear his pain radiating even more than before, and it's not easy to accept that this all could've been different for him if there had been a way for him to receive help. Thank you, Mike Shinoda, for sharing this with us.. RIP Chester.
Hearing Chester's voice just hits different now and his words are louder than ever. He is missed and having an opportunity to hear him again means so much. Thank you for releasing this song!
@@spiralwhirlpool2366 it was already recorded for the album but never made the cut, they're remastering most of the songs that never made it for the new anniversary album mostly never fully heard songs. like this one.
@MarioA-vg2ui could be, but if fans in general like the song, it's numbers will surely rise slowly It has potential that's for sure at least, and especially now if the band keeps on being a part of mainstream media, I really hope people will find this song as well
As a teenager I always listened to Linkin Park because I always felt like they understood what I was going through. Every time I blasted their songs in my room, my parents knew that something was wrong and after we would always talk about it, especially with my Mom. Yesterday I lost my Mom.. the day that this song came out.. I don't even know how to explain how much this song means to me and how much I needed to hear Chesters' voice.. Thank you Linkin Park, for always being there for me.. I will miss you, Ma Edit: thank you for all of your kind words LP family! i feel your love and all of your wishes, i really appreciate it! thank you so so much
Omg dude I am so sorry. This song must have seemed like a godsend on such a difficult day in your life. If there is anything being in the Linkin Park community has proved it's that you are loved no matter what. And that if you feel like falling, a thousand hands will be ready to pick you back up again. Much love to you and your mother, God bless 🙏
@@SwedishGundam I heard it on the radio yesterday on my way home from work and it felt like the early 2000s for a few minutes hearing a "new" LP song haha. Thanks for answering my question. I appreciate it
It feels like a loved one who died a long time ago comes back to life for a few minutes, to tell us that everything will be fine, and say goodbye for one more last time. Forever in our hearts, Chester. ❤
me and my mom loved linkin park and with this song i felt that from both chester and my mom, Gone but not forgotten Chester, hope you keep playing your tunes up in heaven for all the angels and my mom, along with everyone elses lost family members
I wasn't aware of Linkin Park's impact outside the US, and yet here I am, watching the whole world show up to spend a few more precious minutes with Chester. Love you all, and I wish you the best.
They were REAAAAALLY big back in Hybrid Theory/Meteora/M2M times here in Germany. Like probably one of the most popular rock groups at the time (although there were bigger genres, but Linkin Park was one of the very few rock groups that actually made it into the mainstream). "Impactful" doesn't quite do it justice man. Half my wardrobe was Linkin Park merch as a teenager :D
They were/still are huge in both Latin America where I grew up and France were I live now. As a kid I only loved the music cause it sounded cool, as I got older I understood and related as a teen As an adult I love hearing this music again under any circumstances cause it’s just special, you know? A voice that makes you feel safer somehow
I actually believe Linkin Park was the most impactful band back in the early 2000's anywhere in the world. I actually went to one of his last concerts in the Ziggo Dome in NL right before he decided he was needed in heaven.
5 million views after only one day. I think that says it all. Linkin Park saved many lives with their music, they currently make sure that I don't give up in the darkest times. I love their music and I'm proud of everyone who makes sure that the Linkin Park fanbase lives on! Feel you all hugged...
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. (John 14:15-18)
When you loose someone, the sound of their voice is one of the biggest thing you miss. Getting to hear his once again, on a never before heard song, is such a beautiful gift you guys gave us! Thank you for releasing it!
i am 33 years old and remember sitting in my bedroom as a teenager listening to Linkin Park. METEORA was my first rock album and i still have it till this day.
Imagine it's 2023. You're the biggest Linkin Park fan. You know every song. You drive through the city, the sun is shining and listen to the radio. And suddenly they're playing Lost by Linkin Park. You've never heard the song before. But you'll know right away. What a amazing feeling. Thank you so much. RIP Chester
@Prime We admire their "beauty" of the rich and famous. Are they truly beautiful? as they seem to have: - hoofs for the legs - bald heads - animal faced /birds, dogs, wolves , you name it) - tails - horns (Channels which share knowledge about this topic: Divine truth1 offshoot100 Enalpekaf News) But they "look" human?. Sure they do. They must hide, of we would kill them as we would then know, who they are (offspring of Cain = the cursed bloodline) But they "look" human?. - it is just an illusion. What`s underneath the illusion? - didn`t you already get a picture? Ever noticed that every singer has at least 1 dark song? Could it be, they sharing their experience after signing the blood contract? M J - has “thriller” K P - has “wide awake” Ever tested your ears? To see to these truly hear? The same with your eye? To see to these truly see? As BIBLE also reminds us and asking from us: Mark 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear. Mark 8:18 Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? 1 Corinthians 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
It's so surreal hearing his voice. I've loved LP since I was little little, and I still do love them but for me, this was... cathartic. Almost therapeutic in a way. Chester will always be in my memories as someone I really looked up to, you never heard a bad thing about Chester. Chest and Linkin Parks legacy is going strong, and this song is proof of that.
Hearing Chester’s voice in a song I haven’t heard for the first time since his passing has brought me to tears.. Rock on LP! Thank you for your music for many years of inspiring, healing, and being a voice to so many victims of abuse. I’ve never related more to any band.❤
I don't think any of us in 2023 thought we'd hear a new song from Linkin Park with Chester in it. This is simply amazing and I hope they find more songs in the archives. RIP Chester.
From what I,ve ear in a documentary about the band, for each few song in album they where hundred more that wasn't selected. So I'm sur their is some of their that was register hopefully !
@@javabl3ck Chester's voice isn't AI generated, he recorded this when he was still alive. It was meant for Meteora, but was ultimately rejected and was just sitting in LP's archives all this time. I personally think using AI to generate Chester's voice would be an insult to him.
Lost is so much more than a song. It’s bringing a community back together to celebrate our childhood. We miss you very much Chester and thank you Linkin Park for letting us experience meteora again. We will always be supporting you guys.
Lucas 21:9-11
You can tell how much the world loves this band just by seeing comments from different languages, but all in one. Chester will live forever in our hearts and memories.
Chester wrote and sang about struggles he went through not as a rock star, but as a human like the rest of us which is why his music resonated so deeply with many of us. He penned the lyrics from his heart and sang the songs from his soul. A legend who spoke to us all in a way we could all understand and relate to. He's been gone for 7 years now and for many of us, it hurts just like yesterday so we keep listening and remembering because we have to honor him and his message.
I'm 36 and Linkin Park was the soundtrack for my teens and twenties. It got me through a lot of difficult times. Everyone has that one musician or band that's their favorite. Linkin Park has and will always be mine. The music and especially the lyrics have always resonated with me. I always pictured myself growing old being in a nursing home and still listening to Linkin Park coming out with new music. When Chester died I cried for weeks. I've never done that before for someone that I didn't know. But that's the power of music. I love this song, "Lost" but it's also bittersweet because Linkin Park died with Chester too. 😭😭😭😭
Just want to put out this appreciation comment for Mike Shinoda. He’s comforted us fans through his songs and early interactions on livestreams after Chester’s passing. Can’t imagine what he would have been through and yet here he is holding himself up. Appreciate it!
Seeing all these comments in so many languages makes me so happy, seeing how many people from all over the world that Chester's music has touched. RIP, may your legacy never die.
What I like about this song’s story is the band practically “Lost” this song and found it many years later. What a fitting name for this song considering it truly was “Lost”.
Just a scar somewhere down inside of me Something I can not repair Even though it will always be I pretend it isn't there (This is how it feel) I'm trapped in yesterday (This is how it will be) Where the pain is all I know (This is all I know) And I'll never break away (Can't break free) 'Cause when I'm alone I'm lost in these memories Living behind my own illusion Lost all my dignity Living inside my own confusion But I'm tired I will always be afraid Of the damage I've received Broken promises they made And how blindly I believed (This is all I know) And I'll never break away (Can't break free) 'Cause when I'm alone I'm lost in these memories Living behind my own illusion Lost all my dignity Living inside my own confusion I try to keep this pain inside But I will never be alright I try to keep this pain inside But I will never be alright I try to keep this pain inside (I'm lost) But I will never be alright I try to keep this pain inside (I'm lost) But I will never be alright I'm lost in these memories Living behind my own illusion Lost all my dignity Living inside my own confusion
Looking through the comments, seeing all the different languages and the affect of Linkin Park on each individual just proves how transcendent music, and specifically Linkin Parks music is. Thank you, I will never grow tired of Chesters voice.
Something cool is how many songs of their helps. The song Numb is only like 58m watches from hitting 2b views. Then this song is gonna get over 20m views 2morrow.
This song is a time capsule left by Chester for us just to remind us that what's gone is merely his mortal body, but his voice is still living inside us. R.I.P King 👑
Still remember the day we lost Chester. Can’t believe I’m hearing a new song with him on vocals. One can only hope there are more songs from demos that will get the love they deserve. RIP Chester Lost but never forgotten!
This song sounds the same as it did when recorded 20 years ago according to Mike shinoda in an interview. Linkin park has so many hidden gems, really worth searching their songs
I'm still here Chester, your pain and lyrics speak to me I only wish you could find healing in your life. I am struggling but your voice brings a comfort and pain all at once
When the girl fell and it showed a glimpse of Chester from the breaking the habit video, I held back tears. It's amazing to hear his voice again. Rest in Peace Chester. Gone but not forgotten. Linkin Park will always have a place in our hearts
Through their music and Chester's passion i survived to get to where i had a chance at life.. through his passing i found my wife in LPFamily and moved halfway around the world at 40yrs old and now have a beautiful family.. All thanks to Chester and Linkin Park 💙 Always wanted to meet him just to say Thank You 😥💙👼
Oh my god, I had no Idea this was coming, and now I'm reeling from an emotional shock... Linkin Park will always be the top! And Chester always in our hearts. 💔
what makes this song so intense is Chester's ability to pour his heart into the lyrics. it's like he lived them all through his life. i miss him so much.
heads up guys. he wouldnt want us to grief. Enjoy what he gave us, and live the life you dream of. work hard for the things u want. get out of comfort zone for some time to grow Hope ya'll make it through anything. PEACE & LOVE
I started listening to Linkin Park when I was 11 years old. And here I am 23 years later, shedding tears while listening to this new amazing song. Chester got me through the worst patches of my teenage years and LP music saved me from myself. It is so damn sad that depression took him away from us, when he helped so many of his fans through their darkest times. I hope that a part of him knew how much he meant for people all over the world. Rest in peace, Chester. We will never forget you
Couldn't have both said it better myself and agree with you more it's really thanks to my dad that I started to listen to them at a young age because it was one of his favorite bands and they too saved my life Chester will forever always be my hero rest in peace Chester we all miss you so much
I'm 27 years old, have been listening to Linkin Park since I was 10. I can't believe I'm hearing a new song from Chester, it really blows my mind. I'm an athlete and I can't tell you how many HOURS of Linkin Park playing during my training i've gone through and it never gets old, when I think I'm tired and beat up a drop arrives and I actually find another gear to push my limits further and further, even after 13 years of going hard at it. I hope Chester knew how many people were inspired by his music to: better themselves, beat depression, defeat cancer, fight financial struggles, hit a new personal best in training and the list goes on and on. I'm not an emotional guy by any means, but this really hits close to my heart. RIP Chester, you're dearly missed but I'm so glad we got to see you live again through this amazing piece of music.
This is an absolute gem of a song, from the golden era of Linkin Park. Really glad they decided to release this, desperately needed some new Linkin Park content 🥺
@@35rrfd92 i guess but the maturity they brought to the final three are almost biblical. Not that they reference the end times, but they seemed to understand something and were trying to tell us. Worker strikes, nuclear war, how to love, many extremely important themes that songs like Numb seem mundane.
Chester is gone but he's watching with a smile. He would be happy his friends found a way to carry on. This band in general deserves respect on their decision. So does miss Armstrong....

My depression crept up on me today , oddly on the anniversary of Chester’s passing, the singer for a band that help me through so much darkness, god I miss that guy
Never thought I’d hear his voice again. July 20 also happens to be my birthday. So I share that day with Chester. And it hurts so much. You guys gave us this as a gift and I can’t begin to thank you enough. I love you guys!!!!
I really miss Chester and his beautiful voice. Loved when he would sing, scream, perform, etc. I was a fan of LP and especially Chester since the beginning. Definitely not the same without him. He had struggles and I could relate. I still cry over him not being here and when these unreleased songs came out. Love and miss you Chester, you should still be here. RIP❤

I feel like there's almost a subtle irony in that, considering the song's theme is being lost or entangled in the past, unable to look forward from them whether those times were better or worse for us all
After five and a half years of, basically, no new Linkin Park songs… this is so bittersweet. When I discovered LPs music, it was by hearing Numb and seeing the thousands of people who had commented on that video, it made me realise I wasn’t alone in how I was feeling. The song literally saved my life. I listened to Faint then From the Inside, In The End, One Step Closer… I kept listening through to the current album (at the time it was Minutes To Midnight). I connected to each song, sometimes a lot, sometimes only a little but their music spoke to me. Brought me out of the dark pit I was in, just long enough to get help. This song speaks to the 13 year me back in 2007 and the 29 year old me now. I’m so glad I found Linkin Park and the community of fans. I’m got to meet my best friend because of it. I got to meet LP. I got to see them perform live with my best friend. Thank You Linkin Park for all those things. Thank You Chester Bennington for helping create and sing songs that spoke to millions of people all over the world. While you may be gone, you live on through your music and through your surviving band mates, through your friends, your family, through all of us. LP for Life ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I never thought I would hear Chester's voice again... This brought tears in my eyes. It's like time capsule. His legacy will always live on. He's still with us through music.
Hearing Chester say the lyric “but I’m tired” after the chorus hurts in such a new way. You can hear his love, passion, and his pain all in one. We miss you, Chester. I pray you have found your peace.
I have been dealing with my depression for 15 years and this band always help me through hard times, im 31 now, single father.. always fighting for strenght and to be honest I havent scream like I did yesterday at my car to this song... I played it on repeat for like 10x and screamming at the top of my lungs. Its impossible to get over Linkin Park! all the band mates, each one of you had such an amazing impact in our lives, you have helped save so many lives and wounds you probably dont even know! please continue! PLEASE.
I'm into 4 years of depression and it feels tiring to live like this. But sir, you've been living with it for like 15 yrs.. I can't even imagine that. I hope you get all the strength to live further with happiness and take care of yourself and your child.. And yes Linkin park has always helped me. I've been listening to them for about 13 years and they have truly helped me to manage my condition.. Let's hope that we all will come out of this. Love you!
Can't listen this song without lump in throat... He was really pouring his heart out in those lyrics...Chester, words cannot express how much you are missed. And thank you for saving millions of people with your singing and your sincerity. During such uneasy times the world needs you so much...
This song sure is something special. I'm so grateful it's been released. I can hardly describe what it means to me, what Linkin Park means to me. To have a new LP song. LP songs have kept me company at moments of deep loneliness. The loneliness that being alive brings; at the end of the day, we all go through life alone, having our own subjective experiences. Which can be incredibly lonely; no one will ever truly understand your perception of life, and not everyone can relate to the same deep emotions you're feeling. At those times when loneliness hits the hardest, there is an LP song to let me know I'm not alone. That's truly how I view the music of this band; as a companion.
LP has gotten me through some very dark times in my life. I feel blessed to have this music in my life and it breaks my heart to hear this but also fills me at the same time with joy.
I underestimated how much it would hurt to hear new music. But it's a beautiful bitter-sweet thing you have made here. Getting little glimpses of what it would've been like if Chester were still here. Thank you guys for this gift. ❤️
@@cutleryseshons4193 I know, I don't live in the US or Europe and I struggled at life so I couldn't travel to see them. I wish I could have, but that won't happen ever again. I'm just thankful that I have known about LP in the first place.
I was 12 when Meteora dropped. Now I’m 32 and this song brings back the same vibes and excitement I felt when I first listened to Meteora. This sound was peak Linkin Park.
Me too, I think my entire essence was shaped by having access to this music at that pivotal time. I really feel lost not being the dark person I was then. I feel locked out of myself. For a moment this new but old music allowed me to tap back into who I am. Hybrid theory and Meteora will always mean the entire world to me. I don't know who I would be without Linkin Park. Not my real true self, that's for sure. (Sorry guys, probably over-shared my own stuff there)
I miss you so much, even i havent met u, your voice brought me so much emotions Chester, i will truly be lost without your guidance, your song helped me through tough times LP, thank you.
Wow the chills it brings to hear Chester on a new song after almost 5 years. Please tell me I'm not the only one that teared up a bit 😥. Thank you guys!!! LP Forever ❤❤❤
Damn the number of people sharing their love for Linkin Park in different languages ! Here’s one band that has 0 hate and will always be relevant. So glad to hear Chester’s voice again. Heals a hard time like nothing else.
Linkin Park is my all time favorite band. But trust me they get a lot of hate. I remember when Chester passed away I found a Facebook group that's call 'Chester to the dumpster' or something like that, their profile photo was a picture of a rubbish bin in the street with Chester inside of it. I saw that and I was like "WTF is wrong with people!!!".

This is just heavy. Makes me cry without any obvious reason. You will always be missed Chester. ♥️🤘🖤
@@RiflemanKS Exactly. Don’t get why the fan base was ranting in 2017. It’s their songs, they can do whatever they want with them. And guess what? One More Light was a hit, so…
I honestly put a lot of blame on the fake “fans” that bitched about One More Light. That was very clearly Chester trying to heal and even reaching out, and all he got back was a bunch of whining, bitching, and backstabbing. I have very little doubt it contributed heavily to the choice he made.
Can we all just give a huge shout out to Mike Shinoda and the guys for releasing this absolutely GOLD track 20 Years later and letting us fans rejoice in nostalgia? 🙏😭🔥
This is incredible. I'll hope you read this comments at any time, guys: Thank you for keep maintaining Chester's voice in our memories and the music that you gave us
Amazing! Your songs have always been my escape through dark times. This one, of course, is just as great. RIP Chester! I will always regret not seeing you guys live!
Bro the lyrics to this entire song are realatable. I have been listening to Linkin Park for 20 years now give or take, and to me this is the song that hits most the most at home. It's amazing how this wasn't selected originally.... There's not a word of this song that doesn't speak to my soul. This and Fighting Myself have become not only my two new favorite songs of Linkin Park, but also of all time. They're just how I feel on a daily basis....
@@educatedfool5121 Yeah I can't think of any song he wrote that doesn't entirely speak to me. I think Given Up must be it for me after hearing about his death.
You will not be forgotten Chester, NEVER, you will be always alive inside our minds and hearts. R.I.P. brother I'm sure you are giving an amazing concert up there...and I hope to enjoy it someday.
This song is timeless. Hidden for 20 years, appearing just like that, hitting you hard and leaving you in tears, showing just how much we've LOST with Chester.
ABSOLUTELY! Perfectly stated.

Lyrics-
Just a scar somewhere down inside of me
Something I can not repair
Even though it will always be
I pretend it isn't there (This is how it feel)
I'm trapped in yesterday (This is how it will be)
Where the pain is all I know (This is all I know)
And I'll never break away (Can't break free)
'Cause when I'm alone
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
But I'm tired
I will always be afraid
Of the damage I've received
Broken promises they made
And how blindly I believed (This is all I know)
And I'll never break away (Can't break free)
'Cause when I'm alone
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
I try to keep this pain inside
But I will never be alright
I try to keep this pain inside

it's crazy how you can miss someone that you never met but always heard his voice. This song brought me a lot of emotions, and the feeling of loss is what stands out the most.
Very true... but it's good he lives on in his songs... we have to make sure his legacy continues and he never gets forgotten 💜
Lost a legend whose songs would have continued to help change people's minds and lives. R.I.P. Chester!!!

Thanks to Mike, Brad, Dave, Joe and Rob for sharing this song to us! - Chester will be ever in our heart - Thanks guys!

It's hard listening to his songs sometimes.. it's like I can hear his pain radiating even more than before, and it's not easy to accept that this all could've been different for him if there had been a way for him to receive help.
Thank you, Mike Shinoda, for sharing this with us.. RIP Chester.

In parallel universe, Numb was the one cut from Meteora and Lost is the megahit with +2B streams.
Given that numb was mixed with Jay-Z's Encore, I have to wonder what song they would have mixed Lost with for Collision Course.
In a parallel universe...........Chester is still alive.
In a parallel universe, Mark Wakefield is still the lead singer of Linkin Park
In due time it’ll come as well
@MarioA-vg2ui could be, but if fans in general like the song, it's numbers will surely rise slowly
It has potential that's for sure at least, and especially now if the band keeps on being a part of mainstream media, I really hope people will find this song as well
As a teenager I always listened to Linkin Park because I always felt like they understood what I was going through. Every time I blasted their songs in my room, my parents knew that something was wrong and after we would always talk about it, especially with my Mom. Forever in our hearts, Chester. ❤

I wasn't aware of Linkin Park's impact outside the US, and yet here I am, watching the whole world show up to spend a few more precious minutes with Chester. Love you all, and I wish you the best.
Here in brazil, they're like the most influential band that I know. Love or hate, here everybody knows this band, every gym plays faint😂
As a kid I only loved the music cause it sounded cool, as I got older I understood and related as a teen
As an adult I love hearing this music again under any circumstances cause it’s just special, you know?
A voice that makes you feel safer somehow
🇨🇵🤝🏾🙏🏾
I actually believe Linkin Park was the most impactful band back in the early 2000's anywhere in the world. I actually went to one of his last concerts in the Ziggo Dome in NL right before he decided he was needed in heaven.
5 million views after only one day. I think that says it all. Linkin Park saved many lives with their music, they currently make sure that I don't give up in the darkest times. I love their music and I'm proud of everyone who makes sure that the Linkin Park fanbase lives on! Feel you all hugged...

@Prime We admire their "beauty" of the rich and famous. Are they truly beautiful? as they seem to have:
- hoofs for the legs
- bald heads
- animal faced /birds, dogs, wolves , you name it)
- tails
- horns

But they "look" human?. Sure they do. They must hide, of we would kill them as we would then know, who they are (offspring of Cain = the cursed bloodline)
But they "look" human?. - it is just an illusion.
What`s underneath the illusion? - didn`t you already get a picture?

Never thought I’d hear his voice again. July 20 also happens to be my birthday. So I share that day with Chester. And it hurts so much. You guys gave us this as a gift and I can’t begin to thank you enough. I love you guys!!!!
*Love Linkin Park?..... Check out SOLAR KAMA SUTRA - their favorite underground band!*
I have the same birthday. He died on my sweet 16th. When I heard the news I cried.
My birthday too...
July 20th it's my birthday too and it's a little bit hard to celebrate
I’m only a few days after July 22nd
To see how Linkin Park has affected so many across the globe. It’s inspiring. I love you all. Thank you
I share the same feeling, bro. I love them too.. Rest in peace Chester.
How old are you two kids? Born after 2000 I'm guessing?
Why are you thanking us when you're just a fan too? Lol
RIP❤
Just a scar somewhere down inside of me
Something I can not repair
Even though it will always be
I pretend it isn't there (this is how I feel)
I'm trapped in yesterday (just stay out of my way)
Where the pain is all I know (this is all I know)
And I'll never break away (can't break free)
'Cause when I'm alone
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
But I'm tired, I will always be afraid
Of the damage I've received
Broken promises they made
And how blindly I believed (this is all I know)
I will never break away (can't break free)
'Cause when I'm alone
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
I try to keep this pain inside but I will never be alright
I try to keep this pain inside but I will never be alright
(I'm lost) I try to keep this pain inside but I will never be alright
(I'm lost) I try to keep this pain inside but I will never be alright
I'm lost in these memories
Living behind my own illusion
Lost all my dignity
Living inside my own confusion
Thanks!

Can we all appreciate the fact that this song directly takes us back to early 2000s and the good old times?
I feel like there's almost a subtle irony in that, considering the song's theme is being lost or entangled in the past, unable to look forward from them whether those times were better or worse for us all
Exactly. It's unbeliveably great!! Hear the "PLZ Tethered" Version. This One if the greatest Songs I've ever heard
It was recorded for meteora but didn't make the cut
Great ❤
Yes😢
LP for Life ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Same feeling! Although I'm now 32.
Thanks for this comment.
Linkin Park saved alot of people especially Numb myself included it's sad that we the people couldn't save him
Perfectly worded
Almost same experiences, although I'm only 19. I've discovered the band like 5-6 years ago
@@shadowred2485 thank you 🖤
Thank you Linkin Park and Chester 😢❤
I never thought I would hear Chester's voice again... This brought tears in my eyes. It's like time capsule. His legacy will always live on. He's still with us through music.
@Laura Lyn time and place, dude, read the room
@@lolingllama It's a spam acount, it responds on every comment, it's so annoying
Hearing Chester say the lyric “but I’m tired” after the chorus hurts in such a new way. You can hear his love, passion, and his pain all in one. We miss you, Chester. I pray you have found your peace.
i felt the same :"(
Thanks for this message 🖤
Ain't that the truth? Gone but never forgotten
😥Yes he was hurt and tired. RIP Checker 🙏💜
yes, it hurts 😥
This hits me so hard.
I’m so happy and so sad at the same time. Always in our hearts, Chester
Chester where are you ❤😢
I have been dealing with my depression for 15 years and this band always help me through hard times, im 31 now, single father.. always fighting for strenght and to be honest I havent scream like I did yesterday at my car to this song...
Love you!
Força man, tmj, a música é, e sempre será nossa valvula de escape
I don’t think I’ve battled real depression, but breaking the habit used to be my escape song👍
Keep it up the fight man.. 15 years is very long and you are very strong. God bless you.
Sad cringe
I wasn’t aware how much I needed this today but I did. It’s like a breath of fresh air to hear Chester’s voice again
Me too
It's amazing
I'm in the same boat. It's been a rough almost year. But I really needed this today. So happy to hear his voice again.
Me too.
We miss him so much 😢

First time hearing this. Jesus Christ this song brings the tears out...
Can't listen this song without lump in throat...
He was really pouring his heart out in those lyrics...Chester, words cannot express how much you are missed.
And thank you for saving millions of people with your singing and your sincerity. During such uneasy times the world needs you so much...

Yeah these lyrics hit pretty damn deep especially after he's no longer with us.
I feel this comment.
Exactly
I just like your German man looking over a sea of clouds.
Same
LP has gotten me through some very dark times in my life.
😢😥🥹🥺
Beautiful track. Tears in my eyes.
im a grown man and im crying like a baby. idk why but it hurts :(
Never be another voice like Chesters. Amazing no words for it. None.
my biggest regret in life is not seeing you guys live before Chester passed away. Thank you for all you have done!
same T___T
Most of us regret that...
you have no idea what you missed out on...Chester was amazing to see live in person. I was fortunate enough to see them twice in Australia ♥
@@cutleryseshons4193 I know, I don't live in the US or Europe and I struggled at life so I couldn't travel to see them. I wish I could have, but that won't happen ever again. I'm just thankful that I have known about LP in the first place.
Me too man… this is one of the thing that I’ve put into my bucket list
I was 12 when Meteora dropped. Now I’m 32 and this song brings back the same vibes and excitement I felt when I first listened to Meteora. This sound was peak Linkin Park.
I can truly relate to you brother. It was the golden era of Linkin Park.
(Sorry guys, probably over-shared my own stuff there)
they are just rereleasing it?
Bro same born November 1990

Chester is one of the best singers on this planet and no one can replace him. His voice is a masterpiece we miss him so much
No matter where or you you hear his voice it is the most unique and powerful voice to this day
Beautiful song
I miss you so much, even i havent met u, your voice brought me so much emotions Chester, i will truly be lost without your guidance, your song helped me through tough times LP, thank you.
I have the biggest smile on my face whenever I hear this song and hear Chester’s voice. It’s like an old friend visiting.
So damn true
So true, rest in peace Chester
Wow the chills it brings to hear Chester on a new song after almost 5 years. Please tell me I'm not the only one that teared up a bit 😥.
Thank you guys!!! LP Forever ❤❤❤
So spooky hearing this made the hairs on my neck and arms stand up
Bruh I literally cried wdym tear up ahaha
Not the only one 💙
Not the Only one. This will never heal..
Nope, it made me cry also.
It’s so nice to see so many people from all over the world being united here and showing their love for Chester and LP.
Yeah. Good thing it isn’t like what happened in 2017 when everyone hated One More Light because it wasn’t the “old Linkin Park.”
Hello Sonia. It's very nice to have so many people here showing love
@@nintendopro0391 actually whatever LP changed their music style. It still awsome
Hearing Chester’s voice again in a new song is just surreal. He truly was a legend. 💕
Chester lives on. Forever. 💯
Legends never die.
💜
That's actually like when Jesus died for our sins and now he lives forever.
@Laura Lyn imo.. that band fucking sucks..
I never ever ever would thought that I would feel 00s so much in one moment. This is it
Can we all just give a huge shout out to Mike Shinoda and the guys for releasing this absolutely GOLD track 20 Years later and letting us fans rejoice in nostalgia? 🙏😭🔥

Can we all just stop doing this in 2023? Its YT likes, they literally dont do anything.
The newness is refreshing... From a man we can't get back... Amazing timing Mike... Brilliant.

This is incredible. I'll hope you read this comments at any time, guys: Thank you for keep maintaining Chester's voice in our memories and the music that you gave us

RIP Chester... one of the best voices ever...
“ i try to keep this pain inside, but i will never be alright “ is so relatable .

This is so good but you must hear “Live Not Survive” or “Whispering Wolf” by SLT 🐺🎶🤘
@@educatedfool5121 Yeah I can't think of any song he wrote that doesn't entirely speak to me. I think Given Up must be it for me after hearing about his death.
you should let out by accepting it, then it can be alrightier
