Some, maybe most, polyurethane is a liquid at room temperature. The solid forms of polyurethane can vary from very hard, like casters and hammer heads, to very soft, almost jelly like, or like the softest parts of the human body (rather creepy). The foamed forms of polyurethane can be flexible foam in chair cushions and mattresses, or rigid foam as in spray in rigid wall or ceiling insulation. Depending on the formulation, the foam may be mostly intact air tight cells, or may be open mesh-like structure The density may vary from a few pounds per cubic foot to the density of solid polyurethane. If foam polyurethane is poured into a sealed mold, you can end up with solid walls, and a foam core. Rather amazing material
The hardness rating is called "durometer" rating just a note about the technical verbage used with this product, I have used two part polymer urethane in various automotive modifications (suspension components, body mounts, motor mounts) etc.
The raw material primarily used in the production of polyurethane is diisocyanate. Specifically, there are two main types of diisocyanates commonly used: toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI). These diisocyanates react with polyols to form polyurethane polymers, which can be molded into various shapes or used as coatings, adhesives, or flexible or rigid foams depending on the formulation and processing conditions. 🙌

Good to see the polyurethane factory
thanks!
Now what I want to know is how to re-sole my boots with this material...
Make a mold . Pour in poly around de soles boot
Buy a new pair

I wanted to see the polyurethane before the melted it
I was wondering, what is this raw material that is used in the production of polyurethane, specifically?

How many time required to cashing after boanding a wheels.
Oil is an amazing rawmaterial!
Thank you! Nice, interesting and informing video
We make molds that are similar to the ones shown.
Tengo un reloj con correa de jebe o goma , es igual al producto que fabrican gracias
Intéressant
Merci.
Gotta laugh at the narrative saying how it's resistant to cutting and abrasion while a saw and lathe tool cuts it away like warm butter.
Lathes also cut insanely hard metals…
Very interesting, thank you 😉👍
Podoba mi się :D
Thanks! Dzięki!
Processos e procedimentos interessantes. Muito bom saber!
Nice
Thanks, Nan!
W tym roku zmiana z pl na eng?

Dobra zmiana i tutaj dotarła... A co z polskim, ładem?
O czym mowa? Jaka zmiana?
@@insidefactories Zamiana języka na angielski, techniczny ciężki do przetłumaczenia ale biorę to na klatę jak polski ład bo nie mam wyjścia😩

Maybe someday. Try switching on automatic subtitles in Spanish. 🙌
There's probably a climate change joke somewhere in this 😶

Is youtube for ideal Eng speakers only? I doubt.
Zmieńcie narratora, koleś ma okropny akcent
A może masz lepszy akcent? :)
