These intakes will also work for the 2023+ Nissan Z!!!
You ain't lying about the heat, bro. Should have fried up some breakfast on the roof during the install. 😆 That new finish is sexy as hell 😍
Haha gonna have to try that next time! And ty. Much appreciated.
There’s alot of heat that comes from the engine and hot air gets trapped in the engine bay. It’s sucking in hot air with no heat shield. Does it lose power since sucking in hot air?
@xlFallinUp no, these cars are turbocharged and intercooed.
That’s what she say 😂😂😂
I love the look and sounds im from az tho. Talkin bout 116 weather in the summer. We still got 100 degree october right now. Buddy of mine recommended these. I got a frozen boost hx type 118. Really curious if thatll be enough for the heat that can hit it from behind the intake shroud. You guys have heat shields for that? I honestly dont think itll be hard if i just made my own out of aluminum if you dont. Quick easy sheet cut out and with some inserts i could probably tuck into the. Clamp to hold it in place.
It shouldn't compromise. I have tons of cars running these in hot climates. Including AZ. We are working on a shielding system for client piece of mind.
Are you gonna offer different color air filters in the future 🤔
You have any flex fuel kit installation videos?
Thanks for the video . I just installed these today. Man i should have bought a cordless ratchet. My fat hands struggled to tighten down the passenger side inlet clamp😂. Is the drivers side supposed to sit slightly higher then the passengers side?
There really isn't much space.
So hot air question?
Was your cordless ratchet 3/8 or 1/4?
helpp! the 2.5 inch throwing maf codes😭 been adjusting inserts for 3 days in a row still P0101 & P010B any ideas?
Make sure the MAF housing is centered and not crooked, compromising flow. Make sure the insert isn't making contact with the MAF sensors.
That vacuum line clamp definitely needs to be bigger, don’t recommend OEM. Will have to get a bigger clamp to finish install. Build quality is good.
Bro for real im struggling right now trying to use the oem clamp don’t work for shit
What size did you end up going with I need to go find one
@@claudioperalta4727did u find one?
@@claudioperalta4727looking to get these intakes. Any solutions you found when installing yours?
@@SebastianMirekyeah I would just buy a new clamp the oem one will not work other than that no issues with anything else was an easy install
Do you need to be tuned in order to run these since the diameter size is kicked up to 3’
No tune needed
@@Turbo_P thank you for the reply I’ll be coppin Forsure 😎
A guy said as long you use the inserts you won't need a tune but without it you will
Yo do you know how long of a wait it is to receive after order with these being on back order?
Mine just got off back order and should be here 7/8. I purchased them on 5/29
Maybe in cooler weather open elements is ok.
But with the engine bay heat getting sucked in I believe you will see hotter IATs
The bumper setup where it’s more into ambient temps would be more efficient
You do know these cars are intercooled right
@@Turbo_P yes they are, air to water.
❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
I noticed the water reservoir are empty, just fill them and change the 3 caps regularly every 1_2 years, Trust me you'll thank me in the long run
What about if you put the arrow pointing up?
@deezq6064 your MAF will face the wrong way, and your car will have issues.
@@Turbo_P thank you for the answer, I was wondering why my car shut off after start the car and that was the issue.
Are they carb legal in California?
No
I went with AMS including lower downpipes HX
nobody cares
Is this what the "neo chrome" looks like? 🤔
Like shit
And now your engine suck hot air only :))) Hot air intake modification :))))
Clearly you know nothing about turbo charged cars and intakes.
