In our lives these days there are so many things that are trying to matter to us; emails, and phone calls, and advertisements and all these things that kind of a barrage us, but I feel like some of the strongest, happiest moments that I've ever felt in my life are when I'm with my children, when I'm with my family. And it's when we come out and do things like this when we get away from the world and we're just together as a family and we can relax, and you know, laugh at each other, and mom says something crazy and and that makes, you know, my brother Casey say something to her.
As we grow up and we get older and we all kind of go our own ways and we start living our own lives, you know, fulfilling our own dreams, it's really good to come back together and reconnect. If we ever need anything we're always there for one another. We talk to our family quite often by telephone and they can say they're fine and everything's great, but you don't get a true feel of how their life is going in a five-minute telephone call. But if you get together as a family you can see how their family is together, how they are reacting together, and if they're happy or if they have problems.
We all talk about it together, we all work it out together. ""Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.""

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
Recently my best friend game me the Book of Mormon feeling inspired to give it to me she had been helping me understand the works of The Lord. I've been praying about it and I know it's true sense then I have been going to church an my family has begun to come along to. Praying about baptism now! Thank you for being so inspiring to my family and I!

The Shaytards were the first impression I had of an LDS family. The love and joy they had for and with each other was evident. Their vlogs had an influence of my first thoughts of the church and they had definitely formed the initial interest I had with the church. After investigating the church for almost a year now, I am looking forward to being baptized this December! I'm so glad to see such a great family, that I feel I know, in a Mormon message:)

I'm not a Mormon, but I always love hearing the "Shaytard" family talk about their love for each other and not shy away from discussing their faith. It reminds me of my family. I like to think we're the Catholic version of them, because who doesn't want a family like theirs? :)

I love being Mormon! I know you don't have to be religious to love your family but religion helps me to focus on what is really important in life. There are so many distractions.

i prey to one day have a family as together, healthy, and loving as this family.
The Butler's are without a doubt the biggest inspiration I have to start a family and respect the Mormon faith. And this is coming from a devout agnostic. If people could see how much love this family has for each other, and that that love is tried directly to their faith, they would judge Mormonism a lot less harshly.

Oh how I love the Shaytards family from the bottom of my heart..they changed my life in many ways..they have brought joy and positivity into my life..even though I am am muslim..I totally respect their religion..and I wish them nothing but the best in life.
This video is so much more than religion. It's love in it's purest, realest form. It's the unbreakable bond between a loving family. And the happiness that comes from that. It's what we all crave in one way or another. It's perfect.

Latter Day Saints are Christian too.
I am personally not a Mormon, but I am also a follower of Jesus Christ. The whole Shaytard family is one of the purest most beautiful example of how a family should be. Besides all of the religion, their family is solely based on love. I have not found my partner for this life yet, nor do I have children, but what i do know is that of my family can be half of what this family is.. Then I'm well off. This is the reason I so greatly admire the shay carl butler family. Their faith is constant and put into practice in their day to day life's. It's not all for you tube....not all for show. They are truly sincere with applying their faith principles in daily life not only in their own family but by reaching thousands of people showing what God's love can be like. I'm most grateful I found them on here.

i know nothing about the mormon religion but watching the shaytards all these years and seeing how they are and their family and how much their friends love and respect them, it must be amazing to have that faith and love and connection with God. i grew up christian and have really lost my way. the shaytards really remind me of whats really important in life and i'll never criticize the mormon faith. they are obviously doing something right

One of my close friends decided to randomly join the Mormon church and become a Mormon. She was a normal kid who partied and did crazy things. She told me that it has actually made her become really happy. I'm actually thinking about it myself. Also because of their amazing family values. But this was a beautiful video.

The great thing about this video is that no religious wars have to be initiated because even if one is not a Mormon, anyone can relate to their families and how great it is when you're all together.

Great video and message:) I have been watching the Shaytards since 2010 and have not missed a day. :) My boyfriend introduced the Shaytards to me before he left for college and it helped me get through a lot of hard and lonely times missing him. We have been together for 5 years now and we are both 22 years old. We look forward to watching the Shaytards everyday. i am genuinely happy for the butlers that they are doing so well and make time to get together and be with one another. my family is not like that at all, i barely see my family and i dont even know 45% of them. the butlers gave me the feeling of family more then my own family does. i love my mom and dad, but the shaytards give me that little piece of love that im missing from my family. thank you shay and colette, you are truely amazing.

I've been watching some of the videos on the Mormon Channel since Shay referred to one of their videos. Although I'm Jewish, I have found a lot of comfort and inspiration in many videos and I have noticed a great joy of life and family that Mormon's hold. Makes you understand the reason behind the Butler's (shaytards) way of life and all their happiness as a family!
