I wish some of the dissonance came from less functional harmony. At times, it feels like a "normal" waltz that just has chromatic grace notes added. It has potential, so i urge you to go even crazier harmonically. It is catchy tho, so good job!
This wasn't necessarily meant to be a full modern piece anyway. It was also traditional at the same time, and I did that on purpose. I simply mixed some modern dissonant elements into a normal waltz.
Also, this is one of my first times composing stuff like this, so I can see why you're telling me to go further into the weird harmony. I usually compose more late classical/early Romantic stuff.
This shi good bruh
This sound so weird but amazing at the same time 😅
Yep! This piece is supposed to be more burlesco, so that's why it sounds weird.
An interesting piece, which is really sarcastic one, haha. Reminds me about Liszt style a bit
Liszt where? sounds like Prokofiev in some places
@@Perryz7ur right, Prokofiev as well,
Yeah, I was going more towards Prokofiev than Liszt, but I can also see where you got Liszt from.
