When Sylvia asked "anong sabaw?" I really laughed hard like until now while typing this comment I'm still laughing HAHAHAHA. Sylvia such a cuuutie. ❤️ And now, I am craving for Mang Inasal now huhuhuhu 😂
me too ate ,shes so cute when she say that.. ' anong ang sabaw' 🤣🤣🤣 i lover her na
Me too
Yung sabaw ka tapos nagtanong ka "anong sabaw"? Joke lang haha
6:21 that melted my heartt that was cute 😭 you can see that manang tindera was really entertained by how ate sylvia tried to speak tagalog
I was laughing so hard when Jessica said repeatedly that it’s better if there’s lot of chicken oil like Jessica is like a common Filipino who craves so much to chicken oil!!!! 🤣 She is indeed a Filipino at heart 😭
this vlog is a therapy y'all, the chemistry of Sylvia and Jessica is so surreal, and feeling ko talaga si Jessica ansarap netong kasama sa Pinas na parang tropa uwu wahhh love u bothhh
Tama ka dyan kuya
Y'all? Surreal na so pa? Wow quit being "SO" pretentious.
@@___Anakin.Skywalker ha? paano naging pretentious yan? grammatically incorrect man o hindi walang mali sa statement kasi may chemistry talaga sila ni Ate Sylvia hays. Quit quit pang nalalaman
@@infinidhrey bakla kaba?
Vote Pacman for President!!
@@___Anakin.Skywalker taasan mo naman standards mo plus di ako bakla, hello 2021 na po anong year ka pa.
Jessica is like a pure filipina specially on how to explaining filipino culture and even how to use barehanded on food because she fit the rice on her hand before she eat 😊😊😊
Yeah she even eat food i don't hahaha .
Yeah bcos she's from Bacolod..the city of inasal
Because she grew here on Philippines
She grew up here in bacolod we have the best chicken inasal🖐️
@@thirdpalermo4504 yeaahhh the best
I'am super proud with Jessica for having a Filipino heart despite being Korean. How nice she was especially when explaining detailed information about Filipino food and her experiences.
Slyvia really did a great job too. How cute she is while saying "Ano ang sabaw? 😂 She knows how to say it but not totally understand. So cute. 😊
ikaw ba nag eedit neto? grabe yung mga meme reference😂
Oy si lods andito ahaha
Idol Zed ng Pinas
ginagawa mooooooh Zed, hahahah bat andito ka
True!! Updated sa memes 😂
The meme reference is soooo Filipino! Good job!
9:58 that's called Sapin-sapin in Tagalog and that's also been my favourite dessert since I was a kid.
Now I'm missing Sapin-sapin because it’s been over a decade since I last ate Sapin-sapin😢 lol.
It's wonderful to see you two together. Lovelots🇵🇭❤🇰🇷
3:09 that balutin mo ako 🎶 🎶 HAHAHAHA relate much lalo na sa handaan/birhtday-an 😂😂 5:29 sana may manlibre dahil miss ko na din yun. I like how you edit your videos Jessica. Napasaya mo na naman ako ngayong araw😂 Grabe ka talaga HAHAHAHAHA
I think she has a filipino editor
You and Sylvia are sooooo adorable! Love how Sylvia is learning how to speak Tagalog and seeing you embrace the Pinoy culture and hearing you explain things to your viewers is not only informative but also paints a picture of how much you grew up immersed in daily Pinoy life. Just sooo adorable!
The reason Filipino usually use their hands in eating is because we believe than when eating, all five senses are satisfied. Smell the food, see the pleasing appearance of the food, hear the crunch and chewiness of the food, taste the food, and feel the food. My mom believe that when using hands, she can feel that she's eating more than using utensils and the food is more satisfying.
I loved this vlog. I loved your interaction with Ate at the restaurant, I love you taking Sylvia with you and explaining Philippine culture, I love your love for Philippine culture. I hope one day when Philippines opens up, you and Sylvia can go to the Philippines and can film vlogs there. That would be sooo awesome. Thanks for sharing! Is there any Jollibee restaurants there in Korea? Maybe another idea for a video!
I swear, Jessica miss the "Manokan Country" in Bacolod. 😊
It's October and it's supposed to be MASSKARA festival... I miss the pre pandemic feels. I miss roaming around Lacson St, eat foods and have fun.
2:40am and I am watching this. Sylvia's "Anong.. anong sabaw?" is so addicting. I had it on repeat. Cute!
The accuracy of "eating with bare hands" thought by Jessica to Sylvia is 100 percent accurate. Pushing the food with your thumb is really the right way. Well done, Ms. Jessica. :)
Agree, and compressing the rice first😂
The editing is hilarious, cool, simple, nice I can't even explain it properly 😂. And also I really like it too, when you explain stuffs to Sylvia and the way she listens well to you. I could watch you talk all day.
She has a Filipino editor.
@@bryx170 Pardon haha. 😭
@@bryx170 she edits her own vids - from what i know
Ate :"unlimited rice, unlimited sabaw"
Jess:" uhh unlimited sabaw!"
Syl:" anong ano sabaw"
Ang kyot ,marunong na kunti magtagalog si ate sylvia🥰💓💙💓
This meal is so much worth it considering its price. So many food options in 1 plate. The server and cook noticed that Jessica has been in the Philippines for 9 years. So funny, but Jessica really misses the Philippines especially the food. There are a few restaurants in Korea - so that's good!
Just love seeing u and Sylvia together, always looks like u guys r having fun!!!
6:20 i literally repeat it like 10X, Sylvia's Filipino speaking is sooooo damn CUTE 😍
Sylvia covering her eyes when Jessica tries to focus the camera on the kakanin is the best part of this video. 😂
Bacolod's Pride is indeed Chicken and Pork Inasal!
I remember bringing my Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese and Vietnamese students in either Manokan Country or Mang Inasal! But there are lot of new places where it serves good Inasal as well😉
Few of my fave are Inasal & Co., and Lord Byron's Back rib which is really really good!
And if you want an aunthentic filipino dishes, there's also a restaurant named Sandok🥰
Wish that, you could visit Bacolod again and tour around the Inasal City🤭
Stay safe and healthy❤
We really love most your duo content in social media, your collab is more exciting, much funnier & we found it the sense of true friendship or bff 🤗. Stay safe and healthy Jessica, as well as Sylvia! Ingat palagi! 🥰😘
Missing the days when me and my friends used to binge eat at Mang Inasal after school classes and like drizzle a large amount of chicken oil on our rice 🤣🤣 i really hope that the pandemic end soon here in the Philippines and we can finally go back to our normal ways being able to enjoy the accompany of my friendsss 🥺🥺. Anyways really enjoyed theeee conteentt pooo keep it u pp poo ❤️❤️❤️😊
"I really like it whenever Jessica explains everything to me. It's so good." -Sylvia
naka2tuwa nmn nila... koriana pero pusong filipina... mabuhay kayong dalawa.. makikita mong mahal nila ang pilipinas.. kaya mahal karin nmng mga filipino.. salamat both of you..
Damn, her food videos never cease to not make me hungry 🤤
And I gotta go to Korea after COVID stuff is over and visit all these places!
3:09 | balutin mo ako🎶 hahahhahahahahahah grabeeee...Only in the Philippines🇵🇭
Love this two women who wasn't a Filipino but has a Filipino heart lovee you bothhh❤️❤️❤️
I think too one of the best resto is Mang Inasal and also captured the taste of every Filipino, An original ilonggo owned business. Here in Iloilo everywhere i go i eat always in mang inasal. I remember the first time i ate there that the rice is wrapped in banana leaves and served in banana leaves also in Robinson's Place in downtown Iloilo with the statue/mascott of a chicken. Ive eaten from iOton branch to Passi branch to all of city of Iloilo branches. haha
Yessss, Jessica, That's true!! there are lots of traditional Bulalo restaurants in Tagaytay, like a lot!! There is also strawberry taho in Tagaytay like in Baguio!!🙆♂️❤
2:42 "Actually, after you left, I eat a lot of Ramyun. so I need Pancit Canton." Sounds pretty healthy living choices right there HAAHAHHAHAHAHAAHA
I'm impressed with jessica, she knows the right way of eating with bare hands. The mountain thing and the thumb pushing it is so ACCURATE HAHAHA
I just start watching the trabaho series and then started to track back to her other vlog. And as I go along I started to appreciate how much love she has for the Philippines, not just the Philippines itself but its people and culture. The way she explains everything amazes me. It really shows how deep and pure her knowledge and love for our culture are.
You're a very entertaining story-teller. One of my favorite youtubers, ngl.
Lovu both po.❤️
Ate Jess Ganda mo talaga sobra😭😭❤️❤️❤️
suman is actually glutinous rice or sticky rice or in tagalog is called malagkit with coconut milk extrract with a bit of salt wrap in coconut leaves. there are also suman made up of balinghoy of kamoteng kahoy or cassava with coconut milk sugar and coconut caramel called gata wrap in banana leaves cook by steam.
Hi Jessica, I watched this video and your previous one, I really admire on how you present and handle your content. It's very informative, entertaining and you can feel the warmth and passion on your vlogs. Please continue to inspire all the people and spread good vibes.. 👍👍🤗
5:42
Jes :" it's famous honeymoon destination"
Syl :" let's go there for our honeymoon"
The sismance lol
If only we can just send you both Mang Inasal from 🇵🇭 Anyway, when this pandemic ends I know you can’t wait to come over. Meanwhile, stay safe Jessica and Sylvia! 💛
That's about how much rotisserie chicken is in fancy grocery stores in the US, Kenny Rogers, smaller restaurants in the Philippines and a whole chicken at Max's. I'd rather buy Andok's. : )
Mang Inasal is good. But back in the day, it was even better.
I love how Sylvia speaks Filipino spontaneously. ♥️
The lady in the restaurant is really funny. She knows how to connect with the customers really well, she's so bubbly and talkative haha, pinoy na pinoy talaga 😆😆
Sobrang bait ni ate, i borrowed cash from her kasi di natanggap ang Phil. Embassy ng card, in return ayun nka dalawang served ako nung inasal nya, take out yung isa🤣
I really like the vidoe especially when Sylvia is there the way Jessica explain about pilipino food 😘😘😘
WOW! Together again with Sylvia. So happy to see. Love you both!
I loved how Jessica influences Sylvia with anything related to Filipino Culture and Filipino Foods. Haha. More to come for the both of youuu! ❤️🔥☺️
Sending love from PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭🇰🇷
Stay Safe Everyone ❤️ SARANGHAE
I've been watching your videos for almost a week and now I can't go by a day without watching any.
I miss them both😭lovelots from Cebu Philippines 😭😍😘
Yung mas pusong pinoy pa at mapahmahal sa kulturang Pilipino kesa sa ibang Pilipino… hayyy Jessica you make us Filipinos proud.
Masarap yan Inasal sa South Korea with Ate Sylvia Maganda, walang rice
Woah another Jessica & Sylvia. thanks for the content! B)
Ate:" tingnan mo pusong pinoy daw sya"
Yes pusong pinoy po sya ate💓💙💓
I really love this kind of content of yours and i miss ate sylvia so much. Sobrang nakakamiss kayong dalawa.
6:20 i keep repeating it😭 ate Sylvia's tagalog is so cutttteeeee 😭😩❤️
That “loves redhorse” will never get old tho😂 And I love how she loves sinigang now! Maybe Chicken Inasal will add on her list of favorite 😂
HAHAHAHAHA. That BALUTIN mo was so unexpected. I was seriously watching, it popped up and I was laughing the very moment! If it was you Jessica, the edit is LEEGGGIIIIT! 🤣
Jessica's always excited every time she explains something about the Philippines 😁😍
Thankyou so much for embracing the Filipino culture ate Jessica!!
These 2 are my hardcore happiness 😉😍
Sylvia is back! Yay!!! You guys should put up your own inasalan called Manang Inasal!
Haha true
I miss the two of you😍😍
I really love the way jessica explain and the good vibes of slyvia especially her laugh🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just love seeing you and Sylvia together. ♡
I bought winter jackets there in Dongdaemun. hehehe.. I can still vividly remember the place and warmth of the people trying to converse with us in English. And we walk from Dongdaemun to Myeongdong! hehehe. I miss Seoul ❤️ Hope to be back again after the pandemic.
Jessica: "My dad is a huge fan of (Mang) Inasal."
Me: My dad hates me when I eat in Mang Inasal because he doesn't want me to get fat. He's really not a fan. 😂
Moderation
@@BrokenNoah even in moderation, he still hate Mang Inasal. 😂
@@bryx170 I'm guessing you're a kid. If it's any consolation, there will come a time when you can decide for yourself what you want to eat.
@@BrokenNoah I'm 20 now and I lost weight this pandemic and I'm working out 5-6x a week. I wasn't careful of what I eat before the pandemic arrives.
Just finished watching an episode of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, I loved it when Jessica used the OST. SO KILIG!!! Hahaha ❤️❤️❤️
I love how you have the best of both worlds.....Korea and Philippines. You are very fortunate to have a life like yours. Keep up the great work Jessica!
I love how you edited this vlog, i think your newsfeed has lots of filipino memes 😍🤣
Biggest regret: Pinanood ko to ng hindi pa kumakain so ayon i'm so gutom na.
I'm literally smiling sometimes laughing until the end of this video. Some of the Filipino have dream to be in Korea and eat Korean food. But this video is soo genuine. Enjoyed eating Filipino food.. Naaliw ako sa inyo! new subscriber here.. 💓
Yes, Bacolod's inasal is the best!
And btw, sometimes, when Mama buys suman, it comes with bukayo as topping, and it tastes so good. ❤️ Another kakanin I love is "Alupi".
4:37 its so funny when jessica finds her glove is on sylvia's hand na pala 🤣
searching, exploring and enjoying Pinoy food/thing will always be one of the best and quality bonding of JesSyl ❤️
Thank you very much as always 😊✨🙏🏼
There are RUclipsrs who use PH content just to gain more subs, but Jessica's love for PH food and culture is different. I wouldn't even have the courage to explain what the chicken oil is to my Korean friends since they may find it boring, but here she is explaining it passionately because SHE KNOWS IT'S IMPORTANT! 😅👏👏
i really admire sylvia and jessica's chemistry and i'm so soft with sylvia as "aking mahal" to jessica. their bond make me miss my friends more😩
Sylvia: "What's so cool about this place (is that) there's a HUGE bottle of Red Horse."
A Red Horse Master indeed. 😂
"Hey guys
it's Jessica here"
The iconic intro 💕💙💕🥰
Jessica looks like also a filipina maybe because her skin color and also having a heart of pusong pinoy...I love jessica so much..💖💖💖🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I think opening for foreigners here in the Phils. is closer... basta willing kayo mag quarantine upon arrival. Sulit naman. Pwede na kayo ni Sylvia mag punta dito sa Pinas.
imagine getting heart from ate Jessica 🥰❤️
Love how Jess is excitedly sharing her Filipino experiences with her best friend! She obviously had beautiful unforgettable memories of the Phils. Both these ladies should be given a special Philippine ambassador award when they visit the country😚😍!
Nagutom tuloy ako😅..nakakatuwa c Sylvia lumafang agad😂😂...Jessica Lee really knows filipino foods.. Watching this video makes me crave for chicken inasal and biko as well 😅😁...
Ahhhh!!!! I'm glad I ate at Mang Inasal earlier because I avoided craving for it while watching this video. And yes, I really like it when Jessica explains almost everything. It's really annoying when foreign youtubers have not so good comments against Filipino food when they weren't actually able to eat/prepare it properly or have an authentic experience. They should have at least done some research.
Anyway, so much love to both of you all the way from Bacolod!
Gosh. Bakit gabi ko ba 'to pinanood AHAHAHAHAHA. At opo ate Jessica, miss na miss ko na ang Mang Inasal at ang chicken oil nila ㅠㅠ also ate, I really love this kind of content of yours especially with ate Sylvia and ate Moy. Ang saya kasi parang nagpi-Filipino restau haunt na rin ako sa Korea. Tas may bonus na shopping time pa. Ang saya saya niyo po panoorin as always. So envious of you guys, I get non of those foods where I leave in Texas. I haven't seen even 1 Mang Inasal place here. Kakaingit naman kayo kumain! I miss Mg Inasal with unli rice the most.
I remember the first time I saw Jessica's youtube page was her pancit canton cooking video. After that I've been a fan. I am amazed as always how much you love filipino food 💓
proud to be cebuano and filipino knowing that those in the back talking my native language wooooo heheeh 😁😁 amping mong duha permi (ingat kayong dalawa palagi) 😘😘😘

Keep it up! With love from Malaysia.
You change your accents between speaking in korean and english and it's kinda cute❤ been 4yrs now abroad and I miss all the Filipini food too especially inasala and bulalo. Jessica of you can find Lucky me La paz batchoy can you have Sylvia try it? It's my favorite cure foe hangover😊
Teok-like dessert is called sapin-sapin. Sapin is a Tagalog word which means cushion or mat or something soft/fabric for covering literally. Sapin-sapin is called that way because the rice cake is layered with different colors like layers of different fabrics. I’m not quite sure if the colors also vary in taste. I liked suman better, with coconut jam and ripe mangoes. 😋
So natural to Sylvia saying "anong sabaw?" 😊 You're both like Partners in Crime when it comes to Filipino food content. You make them more appetizing and right now I'm craving for Mang Inasal 😍
