Very cool Martin. I've always loved Purple Rain. Fantastic album. Love the ending of Let's Go Crazy. All the mayhem and crashing bashing to the build up of Princes's scream. Fantastic writing and arranging. 8 Brilliant tracks.

I have most of Prince’s work on CD but for vinyl (only started collecting recently), I have: Sign “O” The Times - 2020 Peach Vinyl (the remaster is excellent quality) Sign “O” The Times - 2020 Picture Disc (Record Store Day Release) Purple Rain - 2021 Limited Release (Purple - brilliant quality) Batman -1989 (Original Pressing UK) Partyman - 1989 (12”) Batdance - 1989 (12”) Welcome 2 America - 2021 (Deluxe Boxset) Gett Off - 1991 (7”) (This is with the New Power Generation - cool tracks including the b-side “Horny Pony”) The Truth - 2021 (Record Store Day Release - I think this was originally a bonus disc with crystal ball - one of the few albums I don't have on CD so great to pick this up) I also have the latest release of 1999 (clear swirl 150g) coming from the US prince store. Keep the videos coming! It's great to see your collection. What setup do you use for playing your records? Cheers
A nice start to your vinyl collection. Yes you are right about The Truth being from the Crystal Ball set. If you look back on my Prince playlist I showed all my Prince CDs over a few videos a couple of years ago which you may find interesting. My setup isn’t very interesting or hi-tech. An Audio Technica LP120X through my Yamaha home cinema amp.
