- Saeid Mollaei is Iranian judoka, who currently competes in -81 kg weight category. He is 2018 World champion and 2017 World bronze medalist. He is only second Iranian judoka to win World championships, preceded only by Arash Miresmaeili.
He also has two silver and bronze medals in Asian championships. He blends skills from Iranian wrestling school with traditional judo techniques.
Due to his phenomenal strength he is extremely dangerous in close distance fighting.

Does judo have any finishing moves? I mean no disrespect but these tournaments end when they other guy hits the ground. Okay , i get it, in real life on the pavement just one of those throws may end the fight, but what if it doesn’t? Are there any finishing moves like arm locks, chokes etc? If so, Would you recommend any website or YT video to watch for that?
On top of clean throws in Judo you can finish matches with arm locks, chokes and pinning techniques. I have made a series of videos focused on these moves if you want you can take a look at them.

What type of judo is this? I’ve heard there are several styles. Or is sporting judo a combination of every style, like a “bring your own style and try to win” thing. Similar to Boxing.
Judo is judo my friend. It all originates from Kanos kodokan judo in Japan. This is international judo federation. IJF. They are the governing body for Olympic judo and so on. They have banned many moves from traditional kodokan judo and heavily police there judo with silly rules. I myself practice traditional Japanese judo, but at competition we do adhere too ijf rules. I particularly do not like ijf as it goes against a lot of our principles. But the money is in ijf!
