The cloning didn't work for me either. I was however able to make a recovery usb drive and did a fresh install of Windows on the larger SSD drive.
This is so much easier than exchanging the SSD on the Lenovo Yoga 920 --- amazing --- Clonezilla seems to be the way to cloning

How did you prep the screw to make it easy to remove? I have already stripped the screw because it was so tight. Obviously, Lenovo does not want anyone to upgrade the drive.
It was already kinda loose which was odd. Maybe I got lucky
Need a good screw driver set. Some sets look good but stink when you use them (soft metal)
What happened with the cloning???
I was trying to upgrade to a Samsung 980 Pro, but it wouldn't take.

When I was screen recording the process it messed it and did not record it. I linked a video in the description that covers the cloning process.
Really wish I could've seen the dislike ratio. Maybe then I wouldn't have downloaded Macrium and gotten browser hijacker malware installed on my computer. I can guarantee that's why he didn't include the Macrium installation in the video.
Hi, what is the philips head size of that lock tight screw on the ssd ?
Not 100% sure but it was small. It seemed to be similar to eye glass screw size.
