I followed alongside your tutorial as I was changing my battery and everything turned out well. I’ve now got my new battery in my laptop and it seems to work just fine. Truly, thank you for your video and for your help.
Great video. Remind people don't use a metal screw driver to wedge out the battery connector. I got a small spark when it touched something next to the connector. Appears to be fine though
Not sure if my battery is actually worn. It works for several hours if I use the powersave mode from 100% charge. Else it ramps up the fans and eats power, while being really hot. My problem is that if I leave it with 100%, the next day I often must charge it to power it back up.
Do you recommend to open and check the battery number before order one online? And do you recomend OEM Lenovo or what´s on the aftermarket? Ist a C930-13IKB

2 of my side most connector pins have got bent in the battery socket so I am unable to fix the new battery into the socket. How to fix the 2 bent pins?
I think my battery is swollen. The top of the laptop doesn't close all the way. I bought a new battery and will attempt to follow your video later today
10:04 plugging in the ribbon cable is a b***h. We finally gently filed the sides of the plug with a nail file, repeatedly trying again after a little filing, and it finally worked. But quite scary.
