Here's what I probably would've done. (1) Sauteed Mushroom with Ricotta, Radish, and Crispy Dumpling Skin - garnish with Arugula (2) Stir-Fried Jalepeno Chicken with Sticky Sauce (Ginger/Mirin/Soy Sauce) - garnished with Scallions (3) Beer ----- Alternatively, a springroll dish. Stir-fry Jalepeno with Radish, Ginger, Mirin, Soy Sauce and Sugar to get a sweet, salty, spicy, rich sauce. (1) Spread a little of that sauce on springroll skin, add shredded chicken, sauteed mushroom, ricotta, and loads of scallion (2) Wrap the dumpling skin around, sort of like a Cannoli and pan-fry. (3) Serve on a bed of Arugula and enjoy with beer More of a umami-bomb dish. Caramelized sugar, ginger, mirin and soy sauce works wonders with scallion.
Frankie, I found you on Tastemade app last night and I can't get enough! Thank you for your energy! It's infectious! I can't wait to get into my kitchen today!
Lmao I feel like you were the ultimate dorm room chef MacGyver in college. Loved the video! You totally could have used the ricotta/chicken/spring onions/soy together to create a variation on the "cream cheese rangoon"
The primary problem with left over is actually the ratio of the various things. If you continue to make the dumplings, you will run out of somethings while still have plenty of other stuff left. You would have to figure out a new recipe for the remaining stuff and do that instead, and repeat until you can't come up with anything good. The true challenge is not coming up with "something" utilizing a bit of each of the item. The challenge should be trying to use up everything so that the amount wasted(thrown away) at the end is minimal.
Here's what I would've done: 1. Shred the chicken, sautee with mushroom, ginger, scallions, and the green radish tops. Deglaze with soy sauce and mirin. Slice the wonton into linguini/pappardelle and add into the pan. Garnish with thinly sliced jalapeno and more scallions. 2. 🍺 Done.
I would have just blitzed everything in a food processor and thrown it in a wonton wrapper. The arugula and radishes don't really fit imo but no probs, make a side salad!
I wanted to see you slice the dumplings in half and definitely try the two different flavors! I thought the chicken might be a bit dry if there was nothing else added besides shredded chicken inside (?)
That was soooo easy ! Come on, that's not a challenge . Come to my fridge some days, then you will have a challenge ! And you should have pickled the radish and jalapeño for more subtle flavored because your raw radish on the dumpling ! Gross ! She says while watching this comfortably at home .
If you had your own tv show on the food network I'd watch you everyday. You bring a great energy to cooking!
he has a show called Frankie Cooks!
You are the best at this, please bring back Struggle Meals, we need you!
The fridge is very well stocked with foods that go together. What a coincidence!
YES! Do this as a series PLEASE!

Tastemade u know we all love Frankie.... give us more
Amazing Frankie, I'm always inspired by your creativity! gonna see if I have some dumpling ingredients now...
Where did he use the jalepenos?
I love this challange
I heard 'Gimme That Swing' playing in the background and had to rewind cause i started to sing. Frankie makes me too happy to miss
I love the way how he says 'Ricotta'
Frankie is like Jay Baruchel, Jack Black, a Young Christian Slater, and Joaquin Phoenix all mixed together and I love it
Another video to make me jealous with his creativity... more frankie pls
Wait! It all looked good, but how did it taste?
1:28 what a knife!
Great video, hoping to see more soon. Lots of people are unaware of how much food is wasted that's still perfectly fine
Hi Frankie,Looks darn taste!:) Good job! Thanks.
I fucking love him omg 😍
Nothing can go wrong with ricotta. Ricotta and mushroom is a SOLID combination - although not quite asian in taste!
I love how Frankie always blows three quick times before he tastes a hot food!
yesss..more of this plz
The dumplings look so good
Lmao I feel like you were the ultimate dorm room chef MacGyver in college. Loved the video! You totally could have used the ricotta/chicken/spring onions/soy together to create a variation on the "cream cheese rangoon"
Good idea! I bet the cream cheese rangoon would be divine with those spices and flavors mixed together!

Taste the dumplings!
I do this kind of thing all the time.
I've made some amazing brunch sandwiches and stir fries.
Nobody talking about how that leftover chicken was stored? Absolute mad lad Frankie is

That's a really good point about the food waste! I love that challenge! I'll definitely try it!:)
nailed it.
Interesting video!
That's "gimme that swing" in the background!
dis goooood
I would have loved to see quick pickles made from the jalapenos and radishes!
Wow. This is before his cheap meals. But heyyy i still love Frankie
Lol, wish my fridge looked that good when things were just leftover!
This rocks!
That fridge was amazingly well-stocked for an empty fridge.
Does the fridge door count?
Frankie goes to Hollywood lol???
oh hell, no! Good job cooking but I need to see if it tasted good!
Wow. That's a lot. I do not throw 25% away.
Soy in the fridge??
I just realized how dirty my mind is when I saw '' hump '' day
He is high in this video....or on something
Kristen Dunn negative. Just the last video of a long day and a shot of espresso
Frankie Cooks that explains it 😂😂😂 espresso is some crazy shit
That was soooo easy ! Come on, that's not a challenge . Come to my fridge some days, then you will have a challenge !

My guy you didnt taste it
you just re wasted like 3/4 of those ingredients! : O
Barf
I though you were making wontons but your creation is too random, I guess? Chicken wontons or mushroom wontons would be weird anyway
