10 Best Super Bowl Commercials 2018

- Super Bowl is great and so are Super Bowl commercials. When you live in Europe like me, you can’t watch it live anyway because of the time difference and watching it later is not the same thing. But you can watch and enjoy the advertising which is crème de la crème. No wonder, the average cost of a 30-second commercial during the Super Bowl is around $4.5 million and the average duration of these here is around 1 minute each.
The Super Bowl LII presented by the National Football League (NFL) was on Sunday, 4 Februar 2018 with the Philadelphia Eagles winning over the New England Patriots. I watched the commercials on Monday and put ten of them in this video. They are my favorites. Sure, everybody has its own taste but that’s the point: I realized that I actually didn’t like the top ten lists of the media but prefered also one or two of the lesser celebrated ads.
So here we go:

@@Friendship1nmillion As I'm informed, Tide is an American brand of laundry detergent by Procter & Gamble. The last ad was famous in 2019 because it made all other commercials look like a Tide ad. But i don't know about culture clashes, I'm from Austria 😄

They are entertaining because they make fun of other commercials - like a parody - and actually in a very good and professional way - well played and well shot.

I don't know where you are from but I live in Austria, some 60 miles away from the city of Budweis, České Budějovice, where the real Budweiser comes from, although it's hard to say which one is the original, there is a trademark dispute since 1907. So I can only agree with you, the Budweiser brand in the US is much stronger than its beer! :-) Wenn it comes to me, I prefer "Pilsner" from the city of Pilsen, also in the Czech Republic, anyway, anytime. I TOTALLY agree with you! I knew it was an ad before watching it, still I was a little bit disappointed at the end because it didn't last for two hours. I would love to see te movie and especially him as Dundee - he is terrific and very likeable!

Totally shed a little tear watching the bud ad
You are the first one who names this ad, and I totally agree with you. I admit, first I didn't understand it and I asked myself, why are they supporting them by delivering beer? Well, I could understand that to some extent because I was born in the former Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic has the world's highest beer consumption - and also the original "Budweiser" beer which name is derived from the name of the city of Budweis. Eventually, I realized it was water und I was very moved and inspired. That's why I put it in the top ten. Thank you for your comment/vote and the emotion!

Yes, it's very touching and has a very nice message. I included it in the video because other Top 10 compilations videos of this year's Super Bowl often didn't have it and I liked it very much!
I like how the Jeep ad has 'Professional driver. Closed course' in barely readable text along the bottom. I mean it's obvious that when you have a dinosaur off its leash it needs a closed course surely?

But this video is only about the "commercials", not the trailers or - if you will - the trailer commercials. The Top Ten Trailer Commercials from Super Bowl would be a good idea, though!

But I have specialized in commercials now, making every week a new video with best commercials from every Super Bowl from the past ten years (they all are in the same playlist as this video, tha last one is from 2017, ruclips.net/video/MX9iWLEHIQ8/видео.html&t ) and I'm having a lot of fun with it - I'm working in advertising myself, so it's my topic. Also, since we last spoke I found out, that there are acutally not enough movie and show trailers during the game - at least not on the internet, so I can't get them here in Austria - to choose ten of them. But I love movies and when this commercial thing is over, I will try something new with films. I hope, you enjoy the commercials until the movies arrive :D
