@Terry Gorry Solicitor I totally agree so why is one side being demonised and excluded from his place of work on the basis of his beliefs, would you not consider it bigotry on both sides depending on how your views lie and somewhere in the middle is were they need to come together
It is of course, Burke's prerogative not to appear before the court; perhaps he has determined that his fate is a foregone conclusion - that his dismissal from Wilson's Hospital School is now a fait accompli. His egregious remonstrations have not assisted his side of the case other than to alienate court officials - a martyrdom of sorts. That he considers (& does not recognise) he is not above the law, is a foolohardy undertaking - but again, that's his choice, Terry. Whatever the outcome, I cannot see Burke obtaining gainful employ in Ireland, & given the populism that has attracted the media, unlikely that anyone else would want to benefit from his tutelage; that too, is a pity. His conduct thus far, has been extraordinary, & frankly, the Burke family must be running out of moneys in being able to support this protracted tantrum by one of their own. On a related note, is his younger brother, Simeon, still languishing in jail ? Brilliant summation so far - Thank you.
Yes, Simeon is in custody and according to the Judge last week, he is there voluntarily. Judge said a flick of the pen would see him released. This is another car crash in the making, in my humble opinion 👍
Yes, must be running out of money. Best option is Reality TV. Kind of like the Kardashians or the Duggars, Burke Island. So much narcissism, so much material.
The Burke family have the appearance of normalcy, yet they rarely behave normally. They have been given a lot of leeway because of that, yet don't seem to realise just how far they have been indulged. These cases won't be easily resolved and certainly won't be settled quickly. So many complex issues at play, yet the Burke's behave as if the law doesn't apply to them. It's very likely there will be several more terms of imprisonment and many more court proceedings, after that who knows?

i think it is an awful shame that 2 expert witnesses were sitting there and not called, i am sure they could have given expert opinion if Mr Burke is a true Christian ,

Now, I have a huge problem getting my head around this gender issue; no matter how I try my mind will not accept an alternative view . Having said that, try this one for size: If a human being has two (2) X chromosenes = female, If a human being has an X chromosene = male. Simple. What a ridiculous argument, no if's or buts.
Since you asked. It isn't as simple as XX=female, XY=male. The existence of intersex people proves that it's more complex than that. If you want to understand it, consult your favourite biology text (or health professional) and look up "Leydig cell" and "androgen receptor".
