I remember when a few months ago, people were saying that one of the biggest problems with MK1 was that they were not communicating with their fans. Looks like they are taking that feedback, because for the passed few months, they have been communicating quite a bit with posts, polls, early looks, and the like.
“Mk1 is dead” “will this patch save the game” 🗿🗿🗿 I hate when content creators just use buzz words to get views and these idiots believe what they say as gospel. It’s not dead and this patch won’t save it. It’s somewhere in the middle.
@@TheBanished_GamingWhat did they not listen to? We wanted them to buff more of the lesser used kameos and buff low tier characters? We also wanted more new content? They also have nerfed Johnny and Peacemaker with that last patch. If anything the game is finally going in the right direction.
New game modes. Get rid of invasions. Don’t charge for skins. Add more creative skins. New intros/outros. Add taunts and brutals to unlock. Buff characters so none NEED a kameo. Kameos become a mode and an addition if wanted. If they can’t do that. Make all kameos like khamelion. That’s what this game needs.
@JustANERD71 I will take it JUST for klassic 1 vs 1. Fat chance since they kinda seem proud of the kameo garbage idea, but... I will play again like crazy IF they can REMOVE, or make Kameos Option, so I can turn them OFF INDEFINITELY, NEVER HAVE TO BOTHER WITH THEM. Then it will be an MK that it should have been in the first place...

I just want all the things I mentioned which I don’t consider a lot but I do think it will spark interest for all the casuals. Also, we need much better single player content, modes for the grind. I can’t play invasions longer than 15 min without falling asleep dude
The way I see it. Next patch havik is going to remain untouched and is under consideration for a buff when he should have gotten a Huge one a long time ago
Yeah, dude... outside of this weird snobby FGC bubble - this game is good. Of course it's selling well. You guys just trash it for views, and then you're like, "Well, look! Everyone in the FGC hates it! Evo!" Maybe it's because people LIVE to trash it online! Maybe that's why EVO numbers are so low or maybe it's because of the problems it launched with, in fact - of course that has something to do with it, but I've been saying this the whole time - it's one of the best MK games. Not the worst. Maybe its not THE best (I missed out on MK9 and MKX), but its one of the best. You guys just hate on it because it's trendy. Outside of the FGC, it's praise is fairly unanimous. People don't understand - the FGC has done this since the very beginning. I've been playing MK since the very first one in arcades. I've probably been playing these games longer than you've been alive and Street Fighter fans and Tekken fans have trashed MK since day one (probably because it sells more).. Stop trashing it.

MK1 has been tight this whole time. It's not perfect, but it's super cool. Otherwise why play it every day? lol Just to trash it online?
@Potsgud Also, I tried playing MKX and ultimately lost interest because it's training mode wasn't nearly as good as MK1's, so there was literally no logical reason to go back to MKX. Maybe it was better - I'll never know. However I DO know MK1 is better than MK11. And that's how life goes. Not every videogame is perfect. You wouldn't notice all MK1's flaws if you weren't living inside of it like an apartment. Go outside.
@neoconnor4395 I agree with what you said, but MK11 was better than MK1 for someone who had play MK1 and 11 since day 1 I think MK11 is better when it came with customization because you were able to customize your character head to toe and you were able to change your characters move set but in MK1 you were able to customize one gear piece and 2 costumes sometimes 3 or 4 and no ability change and I think the defense in MK11 was better and had options But all of this is my opinion.
@thechosenonexd1738 MK11 was fine. People's hatred for that game is often misconstrued. People just love to hate on MK - particularly in the FGC. However, I have more fun with MK1. What gets me is the volume of hate this game gets. It's been 9 months of non stop hatred and as far as fighting games go, although out pointed by it's direct competitors in SF and Tekken - it's still a good fighting game. Better luck next time.
Nobody is asking for any of this stuff that left the game. They want new game modes , invasions gone. The Kameo system gone. Who cares about a gold skin for johnny cage. It’ll take them a year to do all this stuff that nobody wants and the game will still be garbage. It’s like this every time before they drop DLC and here’s what will really happen : nothing. Or worse they’ll make the game even worse. You content creators are just a disappointment. Ed tweets out some bs and you jump on it like he just saved the game. He did nothing to stop the hemmorage of people leaving this game. People want to be able to have fun with the game like they did with mkx and mk11. Adding moves to an already underpowered cast of characters isn’t fixing anything

Not everyone wants the cameo system gone, but I sure as hell do. Get it the fuck out of here! It's just so silly, and I really don't know how anyone is honestly ok with bad ass subbosses like Goro being reduced to running into someone elses fight to help out with a juggle. this is not the circus.
you see how excited yall are for a few buffs? now imagine if they actually buffed the entire cast. a few characters won’t make this game fun. on top of that why is takeda playable ahead of time? people paid more to play him early, and now OTHER people are able to do that for free.
@MaxDegauss you are right about the Johnny Cage part, but this character has good zoning, good combos, and good damage if you spend bar with the shap shift move which you can get 50 percent with one bar with scorpion and he has mix ups when you shape shift into someone and you don't think that he is good and a high tier character.
@@Mene_the_Mentos08 he's high risk high reward. Most of his moves if timed wrong get him blown up. He's the only character that you have to lab other characters to reach his full potential. I just don't think he can be compared to other blatantly better characters that require a fraction of the time to reach their full potential. Sure maybe bottom of top tier, but that's only in the right hands, in the right match up.
I wouldn't be surprised if they wait for people to find out about having sub zero cause I feel havik would have a long list that might be more enjoyable to find out when the patch drops
Okay.. please let me know if anyone else experiences the same playing online(wired). Obviously, the fighting system is off. Since this game was released, do you experience responsiveness issues such as blocking on time, getting grabbed while it's your turn and your character is clearly down poking before the grab/hit? Even when you know you let go of block in time, your character is somehow still blocking(and I'm NOT talking about up blocking) Also, hit box issues? For example, kenshi's sword or kicks will literally hit the opponent's face/body/legs but NO HIT? I experience this a lot against female characters. I went back to mk11 to test the responsiveness against a Kabal sweat and half the match I would flawless block in time. Everything is accurate in mk11 when it comes to game/character responsiveness. Most players can't react accurately with the added kameos system and character mix ups like rain for example. If they can fix the responsiveness alone, I'll be okay with how the game is.
The blocking and the Defense in MK1 is so ass especially the blocking I be blocking low or up it wouldn't register the movement and MK11 had more options when it came to Defense
This is not enough. If you're excited for a free skin and a few small changes that should be expected bt default, you're part of the problem with the toxic positivity for this game.
What i see people don't have any issue with the basic gameplay But the balance of characters, both main and kameo. Also the game lacks certain features which can be added later, and netcode sucks. And the inversions mode is very boring but it can be fixed too

I am not saying you are bad at the game but definelty you gotta back it up bro. Use sektor missile if you think you cannot cancel or maybe miss an input? Also i agree he needs a mid but rest of his tools are still good.
Im excited to hear all the disappointed fans when this patch comes out. Because has been happening for months now & mf's still think kameos are a good idea but still complain about the damage.

Idk about those nitara buffs, she is mad annoying to fight in the right hands and with these HUGE buffs she will be downright busted. Other than that Juan chi getting a different kick sounds cool but we know he busted with all them portals he farts out. Everything else regarding cameos and scorpion is good cause everybody wants scorpion to be busted lol. Yet we still have no havik and sub zero buffs 😭
No, the down 2 mechanic is a good mechanic, it just cost far to much for the damage it usually gives. I think they should either reduce the scaling a little and make it cost one bar, or leave the scaling the same and make it free.

@Lance.Gardenhire Baraka does need a buff he literally needs a kameo to be safe, and he needs moves to deal with zoners and more ways to get in from full screen

Baraka needs no buff. And Smoke just needs some sourt of mid.
@Lance.Gardenhire Baraka does need a buff he literally needs a kameo to be safe, and he needs moves to deal with zoners and more ways to get in from full screen
@Lance.Gardenhire and smoke needs his forward 1,2, grab string to be an actual throw for good mix ups
