Yes, i love Dr Ferguson's gentle and so loving approach to this passage of the Gospel of John!! How hard for him, when people ask him in ignorance where he is from. I can empathize
with him as i also speak with accent.But his scottish accent is so likeable & sympathetic!! 🤗 🤗 🤗

Imagine seven years of his preaching 2-4 times a week. He is everything that we want in a man of God and a preacher/pastor. He lives what he preaches. First Presbyterian church in Columbia was blessed for over seven years. His replacement is a big disappointment.

This is a strange comment. Ferguson's "replacement" as senior minister is Dr. Derek Thomas, his good friend, protegé and fellow Ligonier man. In what way is he a disappointment?
Guys, I think he's saying it's a disappointment that he's leaving. I don't think "replacement" is being used as a noun to refer to Derek Thomas. Had me a bit confused too
