This felt so much like Fallout. You've got a mission, encounter weird ass NPC's doing weird NPC stuff, get into a gun fight, and are given a side mission that will ultimately further your main quest. The Ghoul steals every scene he's in, though.
Since Dogmeat is a male in the game, but in the show it's a female, I'm guessing it's to honor the late original dog, River, which was a female dog.
There is a perk in FO3 Broken Steel called "Dogmeat's Puppies" where if Dogmeat dies they can be replaced with a new dog. It doesn't clarify Dogmeat's gender, so it's not improbable for Dogmeat to be female sometimes.
The turret is a Fallout joke for how the turrets in the games cant hit anybody unless they are just sitting there point blank range

Almost! That turret is based on the ones you can build in your settlement, not the ones in the wild!
The weapon the Ghoul was using is some customized sawed-off revolver shotgun, something like the Russian-made MTs-255. AFAIK, no Fallout game has this weapon (aside from mods), but it isn't out of place in the Wasteland.

The ghoul's gun is a fallout 4 mod gun called an MTS 255 revolving shotgun, he fires slugs and explosive rounds out of it, and yes the mod has those options

@@ZainKaneko The toaster is a reference to a Fallout New Vegas DLC moment. I can't even begin to explain it, but you have to play it yourself to understand.
The dogs name is 404. He stole the dog and erased the record to cover it up. 404 is the internet error code for URL or page not found.

This show is FULL of stupidest moves ever. Why he isn't shooting, why he is saying shit to squire like a suicider, why she gave her only water how a powerarmor got stuck in wooden board, why no steampunk for doctor while we are using them even for dogs, why, why, why....chatacters are so bad written and dumb. Same as their actions.
About the Brotherhood of Steel Knight and his squire: Its an easteregg towards the game and how players behave. In the game some players like to send the npc-companion in all kind of shitty situation to soak up the fire. I did that alot. Sending my npc-companion into a dark area to lure out whatever the game developers hid there.
@@soundofnellody262 well, sadly its a show for everyone and not just for fans who knows everything. And as a normal person who played fallout not alot - I think this show has very mad decisions. Just my opinion. Maybe fans are happy, idk.

@@try2fly The majority of fans are certainly happy. But I know a lot of people who have no idea what Fallout (games) even are about but still enjoy the show as well. Maybe it is just not yours. I never liked Game of thrones while people were crazy about it :D
