    I bought one spring 2018. Gas version. Not overly happy with it. Compressor is like an irrigation pump in the humid month and the air cooler they offer is useless

      Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Due to the efficiency of a rotary screw compressor, humidity is not readily separated without an effective air dryer. The Air Cooler with Separator (#301488), will remove up to 70% of the moisture from the air when installed properly. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

      Miller Welders thank you for your response. I love my regular bobcats and two TB325s and all other miller equipment. But this bobcat has let me down. My supplier ordered the air cooler for me, after I found it in the internet first, there is no where within the machine to mount , no where on the outside. The manual just says mount it as close as possible. On this particular service vehicle, mounting on the truck is not an option. Then I realize it says to bypass below 32°?!? So it reaches that temp while going 70mph much sooner than ambient temp...it’s too much trouble. Supplier couldn’t help. Called miller and they sent a pdf of the manual in the box. Luckily they let me return the $700 cooler. I am at wits end. Love the idea. Love the set up. But it kills air tools. The trailblazer air pak has an integrated cooler option, but the machine is longer and I just don’t need the extra capacity. P.s. it takes for ever to start. Needs a regular old manual choke. And cable lugs should come with covers. It was horrible trying to find some to fit. PLEASE HELP

      Yes, a typical 1" impact requires about 10cfm @ 90psi, this Bobcat 200 Air Pak provides 30cfm @ 175psi

    Hi
    Can this unit be used for air arc gouging?

    • @MillerWelders
      @MillerWelders  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the question! We do not rate the Bobcat 200 Air Pak for carbon arc gouging.

      @@MillerWelders yeah they don't like gouging rods. I've got a 250 that will barely run them

    Personally, I’d go with the Trailblazer Air pack. It’s pricey but, you can do most any job out there. That machine kicks a##! I’ve used a few bobcats and they weld ok much better than the competitors. Oh, I have 10 different certs, and can setup and weld with any machine out there. Miller makes good equipment just make sure you buy the right equipment for your job. My parting note, if you call Miller with an issue they will resolve the problem if it’s their fault. Don’t try and slam them on a 20 year old piece of equipment that isn’t working. No I don’t work for Miller and been in the industry for over 25 years. My 2 cents.

    As a huge miller fan and proud owner of miller equipment im disappointed in this. This whole machine for just 6500 watts? Completely pointless. You have to be crazy to take this over a trailblazer. This shouldve been a bobcat 250 or make it a bobcat 275. At the minimum. Nice looking machine but no way id purchase this unit. Two thumbs down miller 😑
