How many 3 digits number can be formed the digits 2,3,5,6,7 and 9 which are divisible by 5 and none of the digits is repeated. Can you tell me how to solve that type of question?
@@ahinsawijerathne2871 there are 6 numbers. 2,3,5,6,7,9. If a number is divisible by 5 the last digit should be either a 0 or 5. We don't have a zero in the given number list. Fix the last digit as 5. Now we have 6-1=5 numbers (since we fixed one number(5) as last digit) __ __ 5 The other two positions can be filled by 5P2 ways. 5P2 is 20.

May I trouble you for a moment? In a different channel, they said the answer to this question is 6: David has three shirts and two sweaters. How many ways can he wear either a shirt or a sweater? It has me confused. :( Am I missing something?
Hi Amelie! Apologies for the late response. If David has 3 shirts and 2 sweaters, there are only 5 ways in which he can pick any of those! The answer should be '3+2' = 5 #DontMemorise
I think if the question was, "in how many ways can David wear a shirt and a sweater?" then the answer would have been 3*2=6ways.... And would have been the key...
