Earlier this year I was in Varese and spontaneously went to MV Agusta factory one morning, talked with security guard and front office people about getting a factory tour and half an hour later I was enjoying a personal tour around the factory. Such a nice and warm people working there and going the extra mile for a fellow bike nut. Highly recommend going there but do book a tour in advance. Lovely area for a quick holiday, Lake Como near by too. 5/5.
The irony of discussing how beautiful the style of the bike is when you've got Ken and his little pony stuck to your seat like some Max Power after market wing 😁
Very nice indeedy, must say I think it's clear the MV has absolutely won this series and who would have thought! Lovely factory tour makes me want an MV now... 😍😍
I have had an MV F4 1000R since 2007, ex demo bike. It is the fastest bike I have ever ridden. It used to scare the shit out of me compared to my GSXR 1000K4 on acceleration. I have done a little to it over the years and I have 168bhp at the back wheel. I absolutely love it and won't sell it. I'm 5'7" and it fits me perfectly. I loved your series and had a feeling the MV would win - hahahaha. 1. Watch out for the collapsing rear wheel hub, due to over torquing by garage monkeys with rattle air guns and being unable to read "28-32Nm". Make sure it's been changed or budget for it. 2. Get an impact driver and the correct size socket for it as 220Nm for the rear hub nut can't be undone without it because the long breaker bar doesn't fit past the swing arm unless you have the bike hanging from the roof beams (seriously). Mine took 10 seconds of continuous impact driver before the nut started move! 3. Be best friends with Loctite 4. If you want to ride in the dark - good luck with that - headlights are crap (laser beams only, no spread of light) 5. My exhaust mounting bolts under the seat fell out on the motorway 6. Low fuel light worked for 1 month and never since - known common fault 7. 2 x speed sensors failed due to fitting an HID low beam (!) 8. Swap the fans for metal ones 9. Run the MV on 10/60W oil as stated - or you WILL get overheating and a flashing oil light 10. Your balls will cook once you get into traffic after having fun on the open road 11. The cooling fans run at the speed of the crank. Sit in traffic ticking over and they slow down - hence you get boiled balls! You really need either an extra fan mod or electric and thermostat driven fans 12. The mirrors are effing *useless*, if you are going to enjoy 168bhp then you really need your wits about you or a rear view camera and RF / laser detection system (ahem). 14. MV's do not like traffic or going slow 15. Your balls will cook once you get into traffic after having fun on the open road 16. The throttle is snatchy in traffic and low gears, but you get used to it 17. MV's do not like traffic or going slow 18. Your balls will cook once you get into traffic after having fun on the open road 19. The throttle is snatchy in traffic and low gears, but you get used to it 20. MV's do not like traffic or going slow 21. Your balls will cook once you get into traffic after having fun on the open road 22. The throttle is snatchy in traffic and low gears, but you get used to it Apart from that it's fabulous :-D and you won't regret it, I promise you :-D The mirror's are why MV F4 riders are always lifting up the left arm doing the chicken dance ;-)
You guys need to do a £1000 budget bike battle. Bikes like ZZR GSXF CBR THUNDERCAT RF GPZ CB BANDIT Etc and do a full on bike test 0-60 0-120 top speed braking fastest lap mpg full on road trip bottom to top of England like the old top gear. Something great seeing old cheap bikes reviews. You said on your first video that you was doing speed test etc keep up the good work
MV has a museum. It's just outside of Milan & it's damn fine visit too. Also has a small part about MV's little sideline.....Helicopters! I know......I rode there on my MV F4 750.
No matter how big if a Ducati fan I am, I will always love MV. There is just something special about them. This just makes me want one even more to compliment the Cagiva and Ducati.
Awesome video! I’ve really enjoyed the series! The combination of you guys hilarious commentary and video editing is absolutely mint! Keep up the good work :)
I've been back and forth on buying an MV Agusta Turismo Veloce Lusso or the new Multistrada this winter. The Multi just seems a big heavy, though I've obviously had one before
BARELY! I read up on this and it looks like Harley wound up selling the company right back to the family after that. Harley is being run into the ground, making all of these awkward acquisitions!
Didn't want that to end! Really enjoyed it, thanks guys👍🏼 I was waiting for the tumble weed to blow past when Chris said that bike in the museum was faster than the 999😂

20:36 new f4's probably... mayhaps... perhaps... maybe..xD Now we know. Cool little tour throughout the Mv factory. Ducati museum looks very nice to visit one day
I'm sorry gents, but it's very clear indeed that the MV trounced the Ducati in this all the way from beginning to end. It's purely down to bad luck that BvG got done for speeding in Schweiz, so I don't think that day even counts. I would not have called it as a result, but IMO it stands. Top work!
Hi Guys I just want to say thank you very much for all of the amazing video but most of all, thank you for all the knowledge both have past don't to me I truly respect what you do, I have started to ride motorcycle now just because one day I want to be just like you two. Still give my vote to ducati, but i do like the personal and family experience that MV gives you. I kinda own a MV Agusta (2007 husqvarna smr510...last year MV owned husqvarna). So i feel part of the family and company...Really cool to see the production line. But still think the Ducati was the best overall bike compared to the MV
The MV Agusta looks like what the Ducati 916 would become after visiting a cosmetic surgeon. The Ducati 999 looks like what a 916 would become after falling into a vat of radioactive waste.
'Probably faster than your 999' *awkward silence* lmao

I started thinking about getting a dragster, but then I remembered that it's 200km to the nearest dealer.
