loving the videos man keep it up. Reminds me of this past holiday season I was out delivering with a driver after my 5 hour shifts. Still blows my mind that y'all get a week of vacation even after 5 years. At UPS its 1 week vacation, 1 option week, 5 days of sick days, and 7 option days (Every January). and it goes up another set every 2 years after that. I'm coming up on my 3rd year with UPS can't wait for all that time off.
Stickers is useful in our side cause we use tablets and everything is accurate and fast and not lost too when you work…I’m a fedex driver here Washington Vancouver
I write down the 4 digits with a sharpie on the Floor Packages (IP you called them) and put all the stickers on ends of boxes. 120-150 stops a day is easy now
I use the labels, what I do is I circle individual areas I want to knock out first. Then it will just give you the different vision label numbers. E.g. 4012, 3012, 2012, 1012, etc. Marking peoples addresses is a waste of time.
If you’re writing on every single package it takes too long if want to run your route a certain way and have the SID in rose just have who ever doing DRO set it up for you
I’ll what i do push the the boxes like that they will not fall then deliver. I finish by 3 pm. Always check the adress in the label sometimes there are same sid number
Yea, it's crazy over here. He didn't fire that guy tho. They can't get anybody stay long enough so they can't afford to fire anyone. They just be talking smack
I notice, you not let put info on the door tag as a tip my instructor shows me that we can rip out the SID sticker from the package and glued to the door tag so the person know who is the realy recipient
@@FedexGuy88 whatt?? it's an app we use on route, looks like the map in the scanner but it's easier to use, for each stop, you select which one you want to go to, and the name of the address pops up, with recipient name, number of packages, and most important, SID number
@@FedexGuy88 I'm not sure if I replied already, but it's an app that maps out your route, kind of looks like the map in your scanner, but honestly better. It distinguishes between pickups and deliveries like you can see which is which easy as well as express deliveries compared to normal deliveries and also you can tell if certain stops require a signature or not with a small symbol right above the stop location. When you select the stop you want to go to it will show the name of recipient, # of packages for stop, and instructions It may have with that, and importantly the SID number, just makes the day so much easier
@pierceage Wow! Yea that does sound like it would be much easier if someone is on a new route that they aren't familiar with yet. I wish I had something like that when I first started out
@@FedexGuy88 it's perfect for being unfamiliar with new routes, when I'm on my original route that I first started on I don't really need it that much. But all the other days they put me on different routes it helps out a lot, also in the app you can add in individual maps for addresses like apartment complexes where you could plug in each and every apartment number, so you don't have to waste time walking around looking for them, and you could add gate codes too
I used to write the addresses down but with a thicker sharpie where I can see it better but flipping stickers have worked out better for me.
Yea, different strokes for different folks

Good thing you get most of the codes. Amazon could learn something from FedEx on that!
Right! I feel sorry for the Amazon folks sometimes
