Plus TS3 had burglars! Though that's easy to fix if you have a burglar alarm, the burglar will stop and shout at the alarm until the police get there and they fight lol.
That's just from High School Years- it might not even be repoman related since if the building had that window he could've just noticed it was an alternate entrance

Sims 2 is my favorite and makes me think of, like, a backstory for this man. He clearly enjoys his job, to the point where he has supernatural/magical powers and still chooses to spend his days making others' lives hell. And even getting mad at you if you don't have anything to take. What's his story?? Maybe he once had a sentimental token from his lover repo'd away, and now he wants to make everyone else suffer... I like how the repo man in Sims 3 is actually kinda nice by comparison and will just leave if you don't have anything or you have a fire, rather than calling you out. Sims 4 is fun and has a lot of new options, and especially the window thing with the expansion pack. I like the new interactions and how the item levitates. But idk, for me, everything in Sims 4 is so sanitized and friendly-seeming, even just in the colors and design, it feels less menacing. Just my opinion though. And then of course Sims 1 is great just for starting it all i.e. coming up with such an absurd and consumer-parody idea in the first place :)
The social worker in The Sims 2 also teleports the same way! I'm starting to think SimCity gives its workers supernatural powers to use when needed lol
The windows in the Sims 4 are just that type of window specifically that counts as a door he can't climb any other window. It's also very rare to see him, I've been playing since release and never seen him, because it's so easy to get money and pay your bills.
In The Sims 3 the repoman teleports to get in the house but also to get in the car. I never got over the fact in sims 2 they realistically opened and closed car doors and they took that from us as if it made sense. When I first got the sims 3 I thought there was some bug or my game was broken lol
As usual Sims 2 wins with the slight details with the truck bouncing (I never noticed that before) and the whole menacing vibe with the truck and his mannerisms. Sims 3 follows suit but not as detailed. Sims 4 did some things right with the interaction of pleading your items, well there is a chance they don't let up which is fine.

One thing I find interesting about The Sims 4 repo man is that it can be anyone. In one episode of Call Me Kevin, the repo man showed up and it was Erwin Pries, the Conspiracy Theorist that runs the Curio Shop in Strangerville. There's no dedicated repo man. I like that familiar characters can show up in a variety of ways. I have one Sim in the Doctor Career, and she's delivered the babies for two other Households since getting that job. Since most service jobs are randomly generated NPCs, it also means they can interact normally. My first PS4 Sim married her mail carrier. It really makes the world feel more integrated.
I think the opposite, it was better with at least some dedicated characters, random generated NPCs are sometimes really weird, and most times have a weird gray sickly skin tone for some reason.
@@fueyo2229 - I'm not talking about randomly generated Sims, though. Sims 2 was honestly the best. Sims 4 has no personality
I love how evil the repo man looks in the Sims 2 when he's walking to the house.
That's because the repo man in sims 2 is evil the audacity to call sims losers for not having furniture
He doesn’t look so menacing, because he’s trousers look like he just pooped in them.
