My favorite wave 6 track is SNES Bowser Castle 3 because it's the only good SNES Bowser Castle and fun fact Troy, it was the first ever retro custom track I saw in your videos when I watched RTCT 1 for the first time. SNES Bowser Castle 3 is also my favorite SNES track since it has a good layout, length, and has a good level of difficulty I feel like. Happy to see it make it in another game outside the GBA once more.

I’m glad they speed up the recovery process though because it took like fifteen seconds to get back on the track in wii

I Don't Know If you Know this But there's a Bullet Extension at the beginning of the Slope of Wii Rainbow Road. Found it on Accident While Playing With Gecko YT Online.
FUNKY KONG IS FINALLY BACK!!!! Literally EVERYTHING included in the final Wave had a TWD98% chance of returning to the Nintendo franchise by the name of Mario Kart! What a wonderful way to end booster course pass! All of us know, love, and recognize every proportion of every retro track that made their return to to the final Wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe from start to finish in the blink of an eye!

Mayro proved that you can do the gap jump in Rosalina's Ice World, you just have to take a much larger angle. Unfortunately there isn't an invisible wall at the top of the half pipe, so you're just thrown into and as such it might not be that useful. However with some practice, you might be able to make it work and save some time.
shortcat used smart steering to not go flying off, so yeah it can be faster

Peachette is such a wasted character slot. Not saying she is bad but they could have made something new!

Nah man you forget that waves 1, 2 and 5 we're quite lackluster in terms of graphics and "love". But still good overall
I thought Wii rainbow road was a bit underwhelming, but SNES BC3 and DK mountain more than made up for it

The anti-gravity works so well on Wii Rainbow Road, and I love all the additional shortcuts and whatnot. Kinda sad albeit understandable that you can't do moon jump anymore though lol
these city maps are beautiful. beautifully designed. i personally think they feel more like a need for speed race than a mario kart race

My favorite track of wave 6 is actually SNES Bowser Castle 3 mainly because of the song

Its a small detail but i love how on Wii Rainbow Road you catch on fire if you fall off the course. No other course does that
That's because Wii Rainbow Road is located in the Earth's atmosphere as this is an effect when you are falling in the planet thanks to it's gravity.
Hearing the Funky Kong voice clips in MK8 is so surreal man, feels like I've been teleported back to the MKWii Wifi days

I'm surprised there was never a city track for Central or South America. There are some cool locales there. My pick would be a track in Rio de Janeiro called Rio Rapids
Nothing from Africa either. Would have been cool to have a Cairo track with the pyramids

Living in Madrid and having just visited Rome a few months ago and being raised with the Wii I absolutely LOVE this wave
Rosalina's Ice World is my favorite track in Booster Course Pass Wave 6.
City Track - Can't think of one honestly.
Retro Track - Wario Stadium (N64) and make it so that you can't jump over the walls. Also keep it 3 laps.

Mario Kart Wii came out when I was 2 years and I've been playing it since I was around 3. Not just seeing MKWii Rainbow Road but hearing that remade song legitmately gave me goosebumps. So happy to see one of, if not my favorite Mario Kart tracks return in it's full glory
I love how Lakitu waits a couple seconds on Wii Rainbow Road, just so Nintendo can give us the fanservice we all wanted of our characters catching fire as they fall lol. Nice touch!

The Madrid track looks gorgeous. Including one of the most famous soccer stadiums in the world, the Santiago Bernabeu is the highlight of the track this wave is crazy fun
Toad's Factory, a reworked Airship Fortress, or Dino Dino Jungle, or even Banshee Boardwalk would've all been cool.

If they did add another city track or brand new track in general, it would have to be one themed around Las Vegas or a casino themed track. Driving on the Las Vegas Strip into a casino or drifting around a giant roulette wheel would be so much fun. As for retros Dry Dry Ruins would be my top choice but I really wanted another Bowser’s Castle. I’m more than happy with what we got already though and the developers did a great job

San Francisco would have been so fun! The steep, winding roads, gliding over rows of Victorian houses, avoiding homeless shy guys in the street . . . the possibilities are endless.
As someone who lives in Las Vegas, I think a Las Vegas track could have been cool. Also really wanted Wario Shipyard but alas. Here's to Mario Kart 9.
I really wanted to see a Tour track for Chicago. First lap could've had you go through Wrigley Field and navigate the crazy Chicago traffic, the second lap could have had you cannon up to the Willis Tower skydeck and glide off it into the Chicago River (complete with water taxis), and the third lap could've had you go through Millennium Park and Navy Pier before finishing at Soldier Field.
As for a returning retro track, I really wanted to get DS Airship Fortress and GCN Mushroom Highway.

I had a huge smile on my face when playing Wii Rainbow Road for the first time. It feels smaller than it was on Wii.
I'm so happy that Nintendo finally nerfed bagging. As someone who prefers to just go forward and finish the course as fast as possible, it's good to know that I won't be punished for actually playing the game as it was intended.
I'm just glad other people are excited about the Wave.
Although I will say that Madrid Drive bangs.
Some characters and vehicles got a invinciblility buff but i dont know which yet, as for the visible stats i havent seen any changes.
Wish they would have buffed some karts and wheels, kinda sick to always see the teddybuggy and small wheels.
I’m just surprised that people are already finding new ways to do the shortcut on DK Mountain.
I would've loved to have seen wellington, New Zealand be made into a track. I think that there's a lot of cool landmarks like the Parlimentary building (Affectionately known as the beehive for its shape), the cable car station (which could've had a gliding ramp at the bottom), wellington;s Bontanical gardens, Cuba St. Precinct and Oriental bay (which could've had a quick underwater section)
Rosalina's ice world is way better than I remember it being. Maybe it's because it's not on the Mk7 engine, but it's really fun to drive now.
I wanted Dino Dino jungle and Delfion square and maybe even a brand new track based in shiveria town
Troy, Luigi's Mansion is a battle track in this game.
I don't blame you for forgetting about it, because Nintendo didn't do anything with battle mode after the initial release.

as for tracks i wish they added, i really was hoping to see toad’s factory or delfino square but sadly we didn’t see either 😔 i really hope nintendo brings back toad’s factory in a future mariokart game bc that track is ICONIC!!

As for a City track, something like Rio, Beijing, Prague, Budapest, Istanbul or Auckland would've been cool.

Big changes like the bagging nerf usually happen because they test things out for the next entry. Expect it to work like that in mk9

Shortcat has found a way to do the shortcut on Rosalina's Ice World, however it is not optimal to pull off
I found way to do the rosalina’s ice world gap jump u have to mini turbo jump off the side of the ice. You won’t clear the whole turn but u will clear part of it
GBA technically has 7 Bowser Castles because they included all the SNES courses in it.
If you use funky kong with the varmint frame, slim tires, and normal glider, thats as close as youll get to the og flame runners stats!

For a city, I’d have liked to see a Latin American or Indian or Middle Eastern city, something like Quito or São Paulo or Mumbai or Cairo. I think Europe is over represented at the moment. As for tracks, this is not an unpopular opinion but the skewering of Airship Fortress is a tragedy on par with Waluigi’s cut from Mario Kart 7

Ok so Funky kong is S-tier, Diddy is A-tier as well as pauline, Peachette is B-tier. But my favorite track of wave six is DK mountain, which barely beat Wii rainbow road.
