It’s just crazy to me that this game is finally coming to an end after 9 and a half years!!! I still can’t believe it. In terms of characters and courses this Wave might be the best one yet; DK Mountain, Wii Rainbow Road and SNES Bowser Castle 3 are my top 3 for this wave in that order. The Madrid track looks gorgeous. Including one of the most famous soccer stadiums in the world, the Santiago Bernabeu is the highlight of the track this wave is crazy fun
I'm playing mario kart with my young nieces at times(they got DLC jealousy recently], and they do often like the city tracks. Bathroom track also was a hit. Exited to try the new Rainbow Road with them.
Rio De Janeiro would have made itself as a track. And then it’s gotta be Dry Dry Ruins- the mechanics woulda been PERFECT for this game, we know from DK Summit that those tight half-pipe cuts work, so the temple section would have been the same as in Wii.
Some characters and vehicles got a invinciblility buff but i dont know which yet, as for the visible stats i havent seen any changes. Wish they would have buffed some karts and wheels, kinda sick to always see the teddybuggy and small wheels.
you should’ve dressed up as funky kong like how u did in “funky kong plays mariokart wii” other than that an amazing video that i’ve been waiting for for too long
San Francisco would have been so fun! The steep, winding roads, gliding over rows of Victorian houses, avoiding homeless shy guys in the street . . . the possibilities are endless.
As a Spanish native that has been following your videos for like 5 years. You don't need to go to Madrid, Barcelona is way better lol (I'm not from either of those cities)
The two cities I wish were in this game (or rather tour) are Machu Picchu and South Florida. I’m kind of biased cause I’m from Florida, and I know there’s already a bunch of US tracks, but i think it would’ve been really cool to drive through the Everglades and maybe have a beach or city section for alternate routes. As for Machu Picchu I think it’s very scenic and it would’ve been cool driving through the ruins and maybe taking a glider or cannon to go up and down the mountain between the ruins and the city below.
So happy Funky Kong is back. Everyone's boy is here 🥳 R.O.B. not being in the game sux compared to Peachette, especially since Link, Villager, Isabelle, and Inklings are not Mario characters, but I'd prefer Funky Kong over R.O.B. let's be honest. You said people would get annoyed with you taking time for short cuts, but I appreciate it and it's good for your viewers and for people who already know it makes it more entertaining to see your reactions so thank you for the treat.
For me, I would have made a non city, city track based off of a popular event and location in my home state. The location is Pikes Peak and the event is the Pikes Peak Hill Climb where people race in cars up the mountain for 101 years this year and next year will be the 102nd Hill Climb. I would call a Mario Kart version of it Pikes Peak Turnpike. As for a retro course, I would have to go with either Wuhu Loop or Maka Wuhu from Mario Kart 7, they also could have combined elements from both to make one track.
I would've loved to have seen wellington, New Zealand be made into a track. I think that there's a lot of cool landmarks like the Parlimentary building (Affectionately known as the beehive for its shape), the cable car station (which could've had a gliding ramp at the bottom), wellington;s Bontanical gardens, Cuba St. Precinct and Oriental bay (which could've had a quick underwater section)
I wish they would've gone with a much more visually distinct city for Spain. Madrid is kind of boring but they made it work. I feel like Barcelona or Sevilla would've been a much better fit. I would've loved to see Wuhu Loop added to the game since we got robbed of Wuhu Island in Switch Sports. I guess I'll have to settle for the battle course.
If they did add another city track or brand new track in general, it would have to be one themed around Las Vegas or a casino themed track. Driving on the Las Vegas Strip into a casino or drifting around a giant roulette wheel would be so much fun. As for retros Dry Dry Ruins would be my top choice but I really wanted another Bowser’s Castle. I’m more than happy with what we got already though and the developers did a great job

They did an impressive work on BC3, it's the one I'm the most interest in. The part when you go up on the lava river is so cool
I have a good city track that could have made it that being my home state and city of Des Moines, Iowa. ad for retro wii bowser castle.
Rio De Janeiro would have made itself as a track. And then it’s gotta be Dry Dry Ruins- the mechanics woulda been PERFECT for this game, we know from DK Summit that those tight half-pipe cuts work, so the temple section would have been the same as in Wii.
City Track - Can't think of one honestly.
Retro Track - Wario Stadium (N64) and make it so that you can't jump over the walls. Also keep it 3 laps.
Some characters and vehicles got a invinciblility buff but i dont know which yet, as for the visible stats i havent seen any changes.
Wish they would have buffed some karts and wheels, kinda sick to always see the teddybuggy and small wheels.
I wanted Dino Dino jungle and Delfion square and maybe even a brand new track based in shiveria town
Rosalina's Ice World is my favorite track in Booster Course Pass Wave 6.
you should’ve dressed up as funky kong like how u did in “funky kong plays mariokart wii” other than that an amazing video that i’ve been waiting for for too long
now that i’m actually 2 minutes in the video i can see that you considered it. sry lol
Living in Madrid and having just visited Rome a few months ago and being raised with the Wii I absolutely LOVE this wave
San Francisco would have been so fun! The steep, winding roads, gliding over rows of Victorian houses, avoiding homeless shy guys in the street . . . the possibilities are endless.
As a Spanish native that has been following your videos for like 5 years.
You don't need to go to Madrid, Barcelona is way better lol
(I'm not from either of those cities)
4:23 Troy's freakouts during Dk mtn was great😂
The two cities I wish were in this game (or rather tour) are Machu Picchu and South Florida.
11:02 I would’ve loved a Rio track. I also would’ve loved ds airship fortress to be added
I also accidentally discovered the star jump short cut next to the items and boosters with Funky
I still can’t believe how much this dlc has changed his love for Mario Kart 8 deluxe
4:08. IT REALLY IS STILL POSSIBLE
The best wave, by far!!
Given how good does Bowser's Castle 3 look, I forgive Nintendo for not adding Airship Fortress
9:09, so, does the update apply if you don’t have the expansion pack? Meaning the bagging thing?
17:57, the more things change, the more they stay the same! Haha!
Toad's Factory, a reworked Airship Fortress, or Dino Dino Jungle, or even Banshee Boardwalk would've all been cool.
