It is literally impossible for the game to give you two coins, but it’s weird that it defaults to coins instead of mushrooms. If the bug was just that everyone got first place items, it couldn’t be two coins, and the boo defaults to a mushroom, not a coin.
The wheel took extra long to decide which items to give you because they clearly were having a convo about how funny it would be to double down on the prank after giving you a coin in 10th place.
I was a Roy main before wave 6. Now I play him and Funky interchanbily. Turns out Roy Cat cruiser and Funky Scooty have almost identical stats, so I just swap between them based on my mood :)
My combo is gold mario on the jet bike with gla tires with the plane giders it has high speed good acceleration great weight good handling and good traction
I have no clue why there's a coin draw in the lower spots. And that's why I've had to remove it from the item roster. More of a waste of space than the fake item box.

twd, do you know about bananaing yourself to get a shorter hurt animation than going through the blue shell animation? you made a good call running into the car to avoid the blue around 5:40, but when you have bananas in first, you can throw it forward right as you see the blue shell above you, run into the banana, and the game will only register the banana animation and you will not lose all acceleration and can get continuation animation, rather than the total startover of being blued. you can also do it backwards more easily since its only 2 buttons (release item>reverse) and requires no aiming like doing it forward. it's obviously worse than a forward nana, since you lose all forward momentum, but it's easier to gaurantee i learned this from someone in mkwii way back when and it saved me many times
Remember If you crash a bit and fall behind, it's a mistake But if you fall behind then the person in front of you gets blue shelled, it was a tactical drop out.
Although Troy is fairly good at the game, I recommend you also watch other people who are better at bagging. Troy could be in 9th and be trying to run.
