Whitby Steam Punk Festival 2024

A first ever visit to the February Whitby Steam Punk Festival and what a fantastic day it was. A dry and misty day saw a great turn out of people who had all come to enjoy the Steam Punk weekend and what a great bunch of people they were too. I met and talked to quite a few on my walk down to the Pavilion, checking out the stalls , then walking down to West Cliff, on to the harbour and finally up to Whitby Abbey, which was looking very atmospheric in all the mist. Even a £50 parking ticket on my car when I got back could not spoil this brilliant day out. If you have never been before, the next one will be in July - come down, dress up, join in the fun and meet some wonderful people!
