Living in the UK, and being the only person learning mandarin I know, I find this all the time. Everyone sees a Chinese person and says "go speak to them... your learning mandarin". I then explain that there are so many dialects. SO even with my basic language skills so far, they could have a different dialect completely.

I am an intermediate learner and I just started to try to explain my thoughts, opinions, ideas in mandarin, but I'm not always sure how to structure my thoughts. Your opinions / ideas are all so clear and the pacing of the arguments are inspiring. I agree with you that you are good at it! I will be learning from you in the future - thanks so much!

What I wanted to say is that if you can't find someone else to practice speaking, at least you can speak to yourself, but, you must have a topic to talk about, not just some random words, that's useless. as a chinese learner who has been using your videos to practice, i wish you would go back to the style of subtitles you used in this video: ruclips.net/video/nDJEG35T6S8/видео.html. it's helpful to be able to toggle between english, hanzi, and no subtitles at all - especially when watching the same video multiple times. the hard-coded subtitles you've been using recently are too inflexible
