I noticed you speak in a different accent from the Chinese dramas I have been watching but I can still understand you. Could I know where you are from? Chongqing? I just started watching your channel and it's very good! In this episode, I just learned there is something called 'erhua', which I never knew before! Is 'erhua' an accent?
People from the north, especially in Beijing, will add [er] or just an [rrrr] sound like an English "r" at the end of words. It's sort of like the diminutive suffix -ino or -etto in Italian, makes words sound more small/ cute/ casual. In Beijing they add it to everything (not just nouns, but verbs as well) & it confuses everyone else not from Beijing LOL. Also makes them sound like pirates.
I found this very interesting to watch. A casual, playful conversation between the two of you.😁
”医生有眼睛的“ 笑死我了
😄😄😄
Glad you spoke about the rice/fan thing, was quite confused. Thanks both🙏
很高兴帮你解惑😄
@@EazyMandarin could you give a translation?
You're happy that I something?? I'm still new to this 😅
@@FlabbyAbi sorry, I used an advanced word, I meant I'm so happy to make you clear up the confusion.
I think your channel has great content :)

@@ThomasWong54 I meant Hollywood pirates speaking English. LOL.
But yeah Chinese pirates all had heavy Hokkien or Canto accents.
关于儿化音,参考美式英语和英式英语。
