There has never been a game where i lost as yadack! with them i even recovered from a trideon rush from aqaurion! once you get as many roads as possible you are unbeatable!
Probably Polaris, but Vengir and Elyrion are pretty high up there. Polaris is my favourite tribe, because you can pretty much freeze the front lines of the enemy and slowly chop their troops away, and as soon as you have 2 Gaamis in one spot, it is very hard to beat that, unless the enemy already has a few catapults or ~4 knights
Yaddak is one of my favorites for playing against players because the roads give you superior mobility and a human player doesn't normally expect you to be able to have such high mobility in the early game
True, you never really expect Yaddak to be coming and if you get to the center of a small map first yaddak can suddenly show up and take the center in one move while seeing what's on the squares around the whole city. It can be devastating.
Yaddak is really strong economical tribe, because trade tech goes right after roads, you can make economy jump early on and road connections can be useful in attack and defence. But they are weak to rush’s attacks, because they can’t upgrade their capital fast.
your video in a summary: Kickoo(econimic): a tribe thats starts with the fishing tech and is as you sad a very decent purchase if you focus on the economical approach. In the early game you should play him passively until you get ports and roads. Instead of attacking you should level up your city fast. Hoodrick(passive): Hoodrick starts with the archers tech and thats why its almost impossible to play him too agressive like vengir. upgrade your city in the early game and go for the warrior-archer combo bc its very affective against earlygame fights. Luxidoor(everything): Luxidoor starts with an upgraded city and has a massive advantage. He can pick if he wants to play passively, agressive or econimical beacuse of his headstarts. The best way playing luxidoor is upgrading your city as fast as possible, get a giant, play very agressive and defeat nearby enemys. Vengir(agressive): Vengir is the most agressive tribe and stars with a swordsman and the smithery tech. The best way to master him is to train another swordsman and go to the next cities of the enemys to capture them. Most powerful in the early game but in the midgame he has a lack of gold and tech and he is hard to master because he cant focus econimical like other tribes. Zebasi(econimic): they start with farming and on a terrain with barely any mountains. Like Kickoo they are easy to play and the best way to play them is get riding except you are on a small map or playing a gainst at least 7 bots. if they have at least 3 cities its very easy to dominate from early game to the end. Ai-Mo(passive): Ai-Mo is a passive tribe because they start with meditation. Bc of that its unlikely that they dominate the early game. They become powerful in the midgame when they build defenders and swordsman. Quetzali(passive):With Quetzalis shield tech its impossible to play agressive. Thats why they almost never die in the early game. But they are hard to master because of the dryland and lack of ressources. In the midgame its very hard to survive with this tribe so level up your city and build a city wall just in case becose swordsman and catapults can counter shields easily. Yădakk(explorer): Yădakk starts with roads and you want to have the most citys in the game as possible. They have good ressources to level up their city almost every time to level 2. The best way you play him is too build riders and roads. But aspecially the workshop instead of explorer because much cities with low gold income can be stressful and often goes with a "Game Over". Aquarion(Hard-to-play): Aquarion is just bad and thats why he is very hard to master. They start with no tech and different knights and giants but it takes too long to get them. I prefer using him passively until he can build ports and spam knights. Elyrion(Hard-to-play): Elyrions playstyle depends on the current situation. If its a small map or many tribes in a game play him agressive but if its a large map with less than 5 enemys or if he is on an island play him econmically and build sanctuary to nearby forests and animals to have an head start like luxidoor in the early game. And also defend his dragon egg until its a baby dragon. Polaris(agressive): Polaris can easily dominate the early game and can hold it to end game if used correctly. Get his city to level 2 at least and go for polarism when on an island alone. Otherwise go with archery and polar warfare. And please dont use your super unit to agresiviely because catapults counter them with ez
I really like the hunting tree and having my terrain full of forests with the Archery tech, so I went Hoodrick. Love them so much. Just play who you want, they all are synonymous to a good time *except for Vengir-*
That's because it is half decent. Hoodrick can be played like a weaker bardur, it's not necessarily only for spamming archers. Meanwhile, aquarion has basically no economy and dies instantly.
With ai mo you can unlock mindbenders and also reduce the cost of future technologies by 33%. You also get the pacifist bonus if you don’t attack for 5 turns which basically means free population
I’d like to see a new video like this including Cymanti. With the diplomacy update there will probably be a ton of new players, plus I just find these videos entertaining.
GullYY yeah, I really liked them and Luxidoor, and I wanted Luxidoor more, but I couldn’t buy it, so I settled on Vengir. Just about a week ago, one of my friends that just started playing, and bought Vengir, so I was glad I had all the tribes. And another one of my friends has Zebasi.
Amazing video and great editing pls do more like this maybe doing a more detailed videos on each tribe for there benefits for buying and tactics and play styles that are good with them
I have a challenge: Yadakk square: Play as yadakk against 4 or more hard or crazy bots. You can only use riders, and the warrior you get at the start of the game. You must connect all cities to the capital, whether that be with port connections or roads.
You didn’t mention Ai-mo in this video, but I think that they’re decent. I mean, they always seem to start with 2+ of the same starting resource, and after 5 turns of not attacking, you get 3 population. Of course this is a very weak early tribe, but the land they start with has a good amount of resources to work with, and can do well long term. Edit: Ai-mo is not my favorite tribe though.
I was considering getting Kickoo or Zebasi. I think I've decided on Zebasi after learning all the money from buying Zebasi goes towards building solar panels. I also like Luxidoor but they cost more money than any other tribe. I was also trying to find a tribe for my friend he's an Oumaji main and I think he'll like Yadakk because he always forgets to get roads and doesn't like to use other slower-moving units.
in my personal opinion, Ai-Mo is underrated as hell. Not only do you get the pacifist mission early, you can also rush philosophy, which will then make it easier for you to capture cities without having to worry about upgrades.
Thanks for the advice! I’ll start off Polaris since the units are a bit special and you can make random lands into your terrain not like random terrains.

@@noahsomeone1938 well, before the tech change they still needed climbing to move onto mountains, so it is not like many have changed. If anything I'd prefer meditation and philosophy got fused into a single tech.

Hi gullyy, i really want to know what editing software you use. I will need it for some projects. This editing of yours looks very professional, so that’s why i ask. Btw. Sorry for my english
Why no talk about Quetzali...:( Also Hoodrick is like vengir but with richer resources and a different approach towards flanking other cities early game. They are one of the better tribes.
Elyrion dominates every other tribe. Ruins aren't hidden by fog, so you get a cheat code to get free tech, stars or swordsman. Sanctuary gives you extra fighters regularly that don't count against your cities. They are perfect for becoming battleships since they are 15's already. Navalons control the water and can quickly decimate 10s on the coast. But the best feature of Elyrions are the dragons. Sure, they are vulnerable eggs, but keep them protected a few turns and they are flying tanks. Back up your dragons, navalons, and polytaurs with mindbenders for healing and turning opposing super units and dominate every match.
Luxidoor is 1 star short, if it starts with a lvl 3 capital with 4 stars/turn. And a lvl 1 starts with 2 stars, then upgrading it makes 3, then choose workshop makes 4, at lvl 3, the city can make 5 stars/turn in city wall.
Wait i have a question. If you buy polytopia through steam and not on mobile, do the $0.99 tribes come free? Idk just asking Also GullYY what video editor do you use it looks cool
Steam version comes with all the normal tribes (the 12 above the special tribes) and then the 3 specials are available as DLC. I edit on DaVinci Resolve 16, it's pretty epic
Polaris is my favorite because when you have your monee standing near a city with a enemy on it then I can freeze him every round until I kill him with a other troop
Oumaji because I use riders to claim cities early on and then I buy and spam knights and get battleships to prevent any attack from sea or I attack my enemy from the sea.
My friend is a Yăddak god. So I like to freeze oceans before he can get ports down. On a large map best case scenario he only gets 20 giants out by turn 5.
Kickoo,Zebasi, and luxidoor rely most on a strong economy. vengir, Polaris, elyrion, and hostility depend on aggression the most, yadack is the fastest expanding and best music tribe, ai mo, quetzal, and Aquarian’s success depends on development for the first ~10 turns, and that’s it for tribes you have to purchase
Question: which tribe is your favorite and why?
Ai-mo because they're underrated because they're pretty hard to play
Elyrion because dragons
Polaris, It was the second tribe i bought and id say it has payed off so much more than its cost! Most games i play with it i dessimate the enemy team! my second pick is yadack! My favorite tribe is Aquarion because when you combine Customs Houses with rushing Spearing, you end up with a really powerful Tridention swarm.

I still don’t know wich tribe to pick :(
(Any suggestions?)
My friend is a Yăddak god. So I like to freeze oceans before he can get ports down. On a large map best case scenario he only gets 20 giants out by turn 5.
To be honest the only thing quetzali has goin for it is the music
I main zebasi my main pull to it was the charity but i just really like their stuff
Cymanti because they look cool and they are strong!!
Before I knew much, I got Awuarion and I regret it wholeheartedly
F
Same here, I got aquarion and quetzali because I thought they looked cool but now I feel like a dumbass
Imma try the hoodrick soon
Spamming tridentions is my way to play, and also they can be an economic powerhouse
Too late by friend told me to buy cymanti, polaris and vengir. So I did.
no tribe guarantees victory. cymanty: are we a joke
i bought Ai-Mo cause they kina looked cool,
than i saw this video and thaught "fuck"
thanku for listening
It's saying that you need to be online to purchase tribes for mobile, yet I am online. How do I fix this or get the tribes then?
Yaddak has bopping music? Oumaji has probably the best bass in the game, and vengir is just a solid beat in general
yeah I think im just gonna pick the coolest looking one
You says «Kickoo» very cute c:
Heyy, i need a new actually video
