Love these unique items you keep finding! The only thing I’ve never been able to ‘jive’ with is the Venezuelan cards. Idk why; just never have felt those cards in any player or year for some reason. But keep building one of the best Clemente collections around anywhere, Theo! You rock brother!

Congrats. The colors on the Clemente stamp really pop! I was not aware that there was a blank back and an instruction back in the peel-offs - love learning nuances like that. Now that’s two Banks cards I need instead of one. Great not having the paper loss in the 1962 - I have the same criteria about paper loss when I get a Banks. The 1968 Plaks checklists are tough. Congrats! Didn’t know about the find. The actual Plaks are really ugly. Cool Clemente cards thanks for sharing.

The problem with Post and Bazooka is that a lot of kids thought they were supposed to cut INSIDE the lines, which would make the card look better. How were they to know that grading companies decades later would want the dashed lines intact on all sides.
@@cryptonite8495 I definitely agree and have said that, especially the dashed line on the bazookas. Kind of crazy that grading companies want the lines. I think, they should have a min size, based on measuring inside the lines. One time SGC graded a cereal card A- evidence of trimming?!? 🤣 instead of min size! I was like that’s ridiculous! I like to target 7s for my collection, but if I didn't buy raw, I'd never own an 8. took a couple L's like you alluded to, but can move on from them and keep my 7s and surprise 8s. I would think that everybody likes to get a deal. It's a lot of fun when you feel like you've found one. buying slabbed cards only, to me, would be boring.

If they were test cards it’s highly likely they weren’t cut as the normal cards were. What does SGC know.
@@MrJmangini I agree, as I said, the found sheets were wavey, so that’s a red flag to me that the original sheets were wavey.
