You've Got Everything Now by The Smiths | Guitar Cover (with Tab)

A favourite track of mine from The Smith's debut album.
I've transcribed based upon the way that Johnny Marr played this song live in 1983/84.

For the audio the signal chain is - Rickenbacker 330 - Boss GT-001 - DAW. I assembled a backing track and included Andy Rourke's bass parts which are also transcribed in the tab linked above.

Johnny Marr was never easy for me to figure out on guitar! He was always at something that was not quite standard tuning. You got this one down, pat! Nice job. ❤️

ive found that standard tuning at about 428hz is really accurate to most recordings since he was tuning up two steps by ear, so capo and 428hz is probably the best

In his early years of The Smiths Johnny used to tune all his strings up a full tone instead of being in standard tuning and having a capo on the second fret. Pros & cons doing this, main drawback is the strings being much higher in tension so more prone to strings snapping more often.
