- Happy New year everyone. I figured why not just put out a new Video on the first day of 2022. I this video I talk about how to bypass the Suzuki Diag plug & TPS check/adjustment if it's out of spec. I talk about the factory Suzuki tools use to help a Suzuki tech diagnose issues with your unit & also how to use a common household idem to bypass the diag plug sou you can read your codes & check your TPS to see if it's out of adjustment. Hope you guys enjoy this video.
Thank you again for the continued support. As always if you have any questions you can leave a comment are email me

The line on mine seems to be stuck at the top despite adjusting the TPS. Any ideas? I’m thinking I need to replace the sensor as it seems to run better when the sensor is disconnected
Thanks!
Yes that is 100% the sign of a bad TPS sensor. You definitely need to replace it. Make sure you get an oem Suzuki one do not order one off of amazon. They've all the same steps to set the TPS once you put the new one on.
@ thanks for your response! Keep making the great videos!
Hi i purchase the sds2 set but not coming with the software also there is activation key can you help how to purchase the software with the key
Unfortunately you're going to have to find a dealer that is part of the Suzuki network. They have to log into Suzuki connect and update the SDS from the Suzuki connect website. I'm lucky enough to have a local dealer that takes care of that for me if I need it.
Hi there. For mine when I jump it and the line at first is on the bottom. When I give it throttle the one moves up to the top. Then goes to the middle. Not like yours on video went back to the bottom. Mine does have a long or hard start when cold. Would this be the issue?
That is a really good possibility of why it's hard starting. When it is reading improper tps signal at start up its telling the ecu the wrong tps reading. So try to adjust it before hitting the throttle & once it's adjusted then hit the throttle & see what it does. If it stays at the top then you will need to replace the tps sensor.
Does the quad need to be wormed up or anything for an accurate reading?
Bc when I adjust the - and press the throttle it goes up & back down to the middle like it should but after test ride ing it for a bit the thing stalls and the - is back up/down.
U think a new tps would solve my problems of dying when idle and needing to further throttle to start n keep it running or is there something else that could be wrong with it if so please give me some feedback. Ty
Yeah if it keeps going out of adjustment then it definitely needs a new TPS
hello. I have never seen a video of adjusting valves on this atv. any plans on doing this any time soon? :D
Unfortunately I don't have a video on this particular model. This was a customers unit. I don't personally own one to shot a video on for a valve adjustment. But if I do get another one in the shop I will be sure to shoot a video on that.
Hi great video…I’m having a issue with my ltr450 are you familiar with those?
I sure am. What's seems to be your issue?
@@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 I’m having a issue where the fi light flashed I check the code it’s coming up 23 which is tos..I got the bypass for it online and it’s still flashing by the same code I took the one out of my sons kfx450r and same thing code keeps coming ack when I turn the key
So does it still start up with the bypass & the code? I would check all the wires going into the back side of the connector toale sure one hasn't come loose are a wire might if broken inside the insulting
@@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 it starts for not even a second then shuts off I checked voltage at fuel pump and it’s 12 volts then drops to 0 I tested the middle wire from the tos to the cdi to make sure it was working through the whole wire and my tester beeped but I’m not sure where the other 2 wires run too one is red other is black with a brown tracer I tried finding a wiring diagram but when I zoom in I can’t read the wire colors that also plug into cdi and the red wire n looks like it runs over to the voltage regulator I could be wrong though
@@limitlesspowersportsservic3394 and thank you for you help I appreciate you taking your time to help me!!
My kingquad has _C00 but when its running its -C00 do you think i need to adjust the tps sensor?
Yes it need to be adjusted just a tiny bit. When it's not running the - should be in the middle.
Thanks alot
can't find the diag plug on my 05 Suzuki katana 750.. anyone help is appreciated
When i put a paper clup in my diagnostic port nothing shows up on my screen. Any ideas?
I k ow this is a dumb question but do you have the key on?
Where can I buy that sds2 tool?
Hey Fabricio. Unfortunately you can only get them as a Official suzuki dealer. Unless a shop closes down & then you might be able to buy one. Check ebay also. But they need to be updated regularly by a dealer to stay current with the new models that come out.
