@@nicolemonrue no need to pin women artist against each other. Yes Rihanna and Taylor have sold a lot of records and are very popular, and they very well could pass Madonna one day, but to say they have "taken down some of her history" is silly.
She invented the modern pop star. Madonna is the biggest selling female performer of all times. Came from humble background. Did it all herself against all odds and vile hate to this day from people who will never be remembered

Saw the concert in Stockholm and I was blown away. She is happy and smiling the whole time. She is the best.

the thing is, will taylor be interesting for the fans she has nowadays when that generation grows old just 10 years?. Madonna´s been here for 40 years. I think Taylor is good but I find all her songs have the same structure and sound too much alike, I don't think they will age well.

@@fujisaki_cheerio nobody sounds so good at 65. I heard her sing many times when she was younger at it was all off-key. I tell you she is either lip syncing or autotune is at work

@@martinodendaal1703she is not always on pitch, true, but that’s live vocals for you. There are many, many examples of her singing beautifully live and it’s clear it’s a live vocal. In this tour, she is mostly live with backing vocals and a backing track of her voice that she can rely on to amplify, pad out her vocals but yes, she’s still singing live. Watching multiple videos from different concert dates prove there are differences in her performance. You can be a hater all you want, but Madonna is actually a much better singer than most people give her credit for. If you look at a lot of male singers they are far worse than she is, but male singers aren’t expected to have perfect pitch and seven octave ranges. Sexism is still very much alive.
