My mom turn me on to Madonna! Holiday was her favorite! I have all of the cds from both artists the old stuff and the new and b side! it truly is a joy to see both of these women come together especially when they've made tremendous impact on someone's life, i'm sorry to hear about your mother's passing i'm sure that moment was monumental to experience live! i too discovered kylie and m because of my mother's taste in music and now these two has now influenced my life for over 10 years now after diving into their wonderful discographies, a day to celebrate honestly!
Their rendition of "I Will Survive" really speaks volumes about their resilience. Kylie fighting cancer, Madonna facing her own battles with the press and motherhood, they're like unstoppable forces. Just powering through, no matter what.
Also just the fact that I Will Survive is hugely symbolic in the queer community. There isn’t really a better neutral song for the two OG gay icons to do together
Look am a massive fan myself that started when I was 7 years old first with Kylie on TV in Neighbours then her music and shortly after Madonna, the love & respect I have for them no one could ever prove is undeniable fact. But how do we know for fact there medical conditions that big pharmaceutical companies that profit from this disease and no so called cures more like only solution treatments weren’t used as puppets to keep the people’s trust and continue to make more profits on a global scale?
