- During her Celebration Tour in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 7, 2024, Madonna spoke about being a survivor and then she welcomed special guest Kylie Minogue on stage to sing a medley of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Surivive" with a mix of Kylie's "Can't Get You Out of My Head." The crowd went wild.

I think Madonna and Kylie have something in common: When they started out, critics, journalists and many people never thought they would be around this long. Honestly, if you listen to the early songs from both of them, whether it's "Holiday" or "I Should Be So Lucky", you wouldn't think they would have long careers. They both must have done something right.
I remember saying Kylie will be around for a long time when the press were constantly comparing her to a cheap copy of Madonna and trying to get them to say bad things about each other to stir up trouble

What's so nice is how you can see they are loving being on stage together abd have a massive mutual respect for each other. Madonna has loved Kylie and been a fan of her's for years way before CGYOOMM came out (She wore that Kylie T-shirt before thar was released) and has always watched Kylie's career ever since with Speakerphone one of her fav KM tracks.
Madonna's reaction to the audience's reaction when announcing Kylie to the stage was great. She knew fans wanted this for a long time.
