Hi Danny! Thank you so much for sharing your story and for your mom to talk about it as well. Many battle mental illness alone, and I'm really glad you shared your stories as others might be able to relate to it. Mental health is a topic that's rarely touched on in the Hmong community. Honestly, I didn't have a conversation about mental health until I reached college. College is stressful but so is about every other part of life. Having these conversations earlier would definitely help us in the long run. I'm really glad your mom took part in this video too. It's as important for our elders to understand mental health as much as we do. Some still don't believe in mental illness, but it's real. Thank you again for being so brave and sharing your story!
Sidenote: Way to rep Lycans! Haha. =)
