As a destro warlock myself, im struggling heavily on aoe packs. I generally immolate everything and use my RoF, and use havoc/incinerate as a filler and conflagrate whenever it's possible and i need the shards.
Yet somehow on most packs (on average 4/5 mobs) i won't go above 150k/200k aoe, while i see SP and BM hunters go well beyond the 400k mark. I just can't get it. It's making me really anxious, but also confused on what i am doing wrong.
Single target is no issue, and I top the charts regularly. Highest dungeon i've completed so far is a +6.
Most runs are PuG's, no co-ordinated mob group pulls etc.
Is this really a skill issue for me, or is it a combination of things?
What is your ilvl ? I picked up destruction 3 weeks ago and I am doing 500-600k average per dungeon with a good tank and what you are describing sounds good. The higher target count you have the lesser immolates you need though, for instance during AA's first pull you can have infinite shards without casting any immolates for the first half of it although its still nice to cast a bunch while tank finishes gathering them. So ''immolate everything'' is a wrong concept especially on 10+ mobs, I usually never immolate more than 4-5 of them and just apply havoc while positioning and throw in a conflagrate here and then between rain of fires until you scale them to infinite. Also consider timing your infernal with the best pulls possible as it brings a lot of AOE on big pulls.
@@dimitartsolyov8059 I generally don't pull out my infernal in big fights! I did stop immolating everything in bigger pulls that helped alot :D We got a new tank friend, who pulls big and that nearly tripled my dps.
I think our old tank pulled 4/5 mobs a time, combined with lower keys and 2 major AOEérs like BM and SP just made the fights to short for me to really pump. Currently nearing ilvl 515, and doing 6/8's. I average about 400/450k a dungeon now!

May I ask, at which key level would you recommend to swap from demo to destro? I know destro is only good in higher level keys. Would rly appreciate your answer

Is there a specific setting you use in Omnibar so that the bars don't overlap as much? I am having trouble keeping track of my immolates due to the bars overlapping, and I just can't seem to find the right setting to fix it. Would really appreciate some help, or well- someone that tells me what I am doing wrong :D

3 Times rain before key inside then 4 time when timer 4 key starts ... now Blasphemie spawn thats all

i've watched so many rotation videos and i can't seem to get my damage up for destro. any tips? Also I noticed you were using havoc even when you were mostly applying immolates or doing rain of fire. is there some paticular reason or did i see that wrong?
He’s using havoc to help generate soul shards. So when he incinerates or conflagrates the target, it also does it to the havoc target. Gaining more shards.
Also, it allows him to immolate two targets in one cast for more generation and dps as well.

One thing i notice alot is, how the healer actualy heals you. Im running dubble BSL and i in many if not most dungens have maby 40-50% uptime on it, in worst case dungeons barely 30% uptime. And i often heal myself 10-15% more then the healer does overal in a dungeon, where do you find healers taht actualy Come ti heal?
Did a dungeon yesterday and asked healer why, why do you refuse to heal me, was just a plus 11 and his responce was, if a healer has to heal more then 90k hps overal im the problem
There are bosses that cant be beaten with that hps. But if you dont use defensives thats also bad
@@Rushgarroth yeah its funny how one healer is like a god and the next is, well he should not even start the game 🤣 same healer class same dungeon going from 80% to 20% uptime on BSL is massive
@@eXpr3s another thing that really annoys me lately are people at around 510-515 ilvl completely unenchanted and arguing that it's no gain
@@Rushgarroth well loosing some 2000 mastery is a massive loss in damage, for me its what around 15% less damage so i would say its a massive gain/loss

I don't understand how you are pulling those numbers. I'm doing the same shit and my stuffs hitting like limp weiner.....
And yes if you doing low keys with a tank that pulls 5 mobs every pack you Will be lowest on deeps outside of your infernal thats just how the spec is.
Demo is always good and destro can be insanenly good and then kinda bad depending on key level and pulls
Well played, but i dont really like playing destro, he is just good in spezific moments:
Good when: Many adds+ they have to stand in one place+ they should live for a while so you can build up RoF
Total trash: pure Single Target+adds that die in secound
For me Demo is way more balanced.
yes but above a certain level of keys adds never die in second and blasphemmy stuns, 24 sec interrupt make difference if we compare with demo
Destro can only be played with premade group with specific pulls,try to play with pugs you will dps like tank.
Demo is op with pugs
