Another excellent review, mate. Small, OLED display, replaceable battery, tons of useful info and accurate. I can see myself getting quite a lot of use from this but at USD$79 it may have to wait a while 😉 Cheers
Always wanted the original one but just couldn't justify the price tag. Now that its a lot better and a fab price I shall be ordering one asap. Glad I didn't get the original as the attenuators quality was found out to be questionable. Nice vid Lee :)
I want one. I think either my flywoo vtx outputting low or my geprc outputting high. Cause geprc on 25mw went like 25% to 30% further. Geprc doesn't have gps so had to be careful. Flown same day right after another same direction
there are lots of RF waves around our surrounding ... Which one does this device pick? can we select which one to pick Or does it pick the superposition of all the RF's around the device?
You set the frequency range you want to test and then any signals in that range will be detected. The same as any other radio test equipment. Happy flying!
Great gadget, but a bIt expensive. I have a question for ya, I have a Boldclash bwhoop b03 quad and I would like to upgrade it. What 2-pin jst ph plug or connector can i use to upgrade to a powerwhoop using the HV 260 batteries. If you will please direct me to a vendor. Thanks for all you do for this community!
Interesting! Do you think the device would be sensitive enough to find the source of 2.4GHz RF interference which is intermittently plaguing our flying site Lee?
It's not for everyone, but if you use them it's worth it's weight in gold and the new one is only two thirds of the price of the old one that did a fraction of what this updated model does. Happy flying!

Hello, can you tell me if this unit will be a viable soon ? Seems like everyone is out of stock..thank you in advance for your response. Ben Herr USA
No idea, it seems like it one of those things that is hard to get at the moment..
This would be great to have in the bag!!! 👍👍👍
Awesome, dude. That's a really great tool! 😊
Is IT for Digital too ? 😊

FINALLY , perfect timing !!!! Cheers
great vid, thanks for the patch idea!!!
Like that a lot as its seams like a multi purpose tool

No idea on the power whoop. I've never had one. Best of luck!
Lots of fun!!!!
ebay
Try Newbeedrone.
So no frequency counter inside?
Thanks Painless360. An excellent and informative video. All I need now is some money... :O(
Awesome I have been looking for one.

Maybe, with a directional 2.4 antenna..
Don't think you can use this as a lost model finder. Has a 30db attenuator built in, only gonna work on very short range.
Great video..
These have simply disappeared. Any alternatives?
Not that I've seen at this price level....
👍 👍 👍
can we expect to see a diy solution from you ?
Thanks for the great video!, I just bought one.
at what price did you get it
@@martinnjeri5173 no idea. To long ago.
Hi. This device cant measure 2m 144 MHz freq range ?
No, full list of frequencies listed on page 9 of the manual..
"Radiation Pattern" rather than dispersal pattern! Tks for great videos.
Can you please test to see if one can use an SMA to RP-SMA adapter and still get reliable results?
That would depend entirely on the quality of the adapter you used. Happy flying
Hmm pretty cool painless how about a giveaway heck I would take the v1 ✌️
I might add the V1 to the prize bag for Patreons now I’ve got this..
One antenna for each band?
Yes, remember that’s only used for relative measurement so the fact is not tuned for each individual band isn’t a problem.
what if i want to measure 20w what do i need ?
Blimey! Not sure that’s way more Han you’ll come across in the everyday hobby.. best of luck!
i need it to test a 20w wifi amplifier if it working as mentioned or not ?
Seems useful but £65?? Ouch!
