Xmas parties .... personal challenges back home including budgets and these days social media even while off duty ... these all lead to temptation and regret .... learn to set boundaries in order to manage oneself and those around one however uncomfortable.

My current warning to senior employees is to not go for your juniors, even if the senior believes that the junior is leading them on. My take is that there are enough opportunities for these outside the work environment.
