I think there are three ways to keep them from just getting wiped out. 1. They're underground and in order to assault them you need to find the secret entrances to their tunnel network. 2. Their territory is somehow far more costly to assault than the main enemy's. Maybe they get easy access to high tech and expensive defensive emplacements that can make attacking them directly a bad idea until late into the game. 3. They're always moving. Their tech tree is heavily reliant on mounted guns, meaning all their vehicles are customizable, though weaker than Warden or Colonial counterparts. How the initial revolutionary is chosen is by first-come, first-serve opt-in. If they are killed before they can convert anyone, the next person on the list gets an attempt. Unlike those they infect, they cannot choose to return to their faction unless they are the last Hanged Man.
It would be nice to have some sort of special event at the front, where Wardens and Colonials made a temporary truce to eliminate pockets of resistance of The Hanged Men, only to resume the fight once they are dealt with.
Why not external islands that you can take a boat to and "desert"? That then reassigns you as a hanged men and you play for a different faction from there on out. It could have like ~2 desertation points on the map, where anyone can desert to the hanged men. They could have their external territories be some islands, and from there they could launch small attack groups towards the wardens and colonials. Obviously you would have to implement some anti sabotage systems, like indicating that you want to become a hanged man for 24 hours or even longer, and in that time having no access to public storages. I think at the moment the hanged men are just restricted to being places where weapons before the period where both sides lost all of their blueprint can be found but it would be cool if they expanded the hanged men

I'd love to see the Hanged Men implemented, adding a faction that deliberately ignores frontlines and coventional logi would encourage development of different tactics and strategies, and could act as a "stalemate breaker" by keeping the other two armies off balance. The only problem is how to balance it, particulary when you consider that all the great veteran partisans of both sides would be likely to flood their ranks immediately...
The idea of a 3 way war in the future sounds so cool, and with the political side of foxhole I can imagine peace treaties being worked out on certain fronts
It would be cool if the dev team did an event that they spawn in with unique uniform colors with op tanks and just roll across the map. And both wardens and colonials try to take them out. (Kind of like a war of the worlds type of thing going). We won't be able to use them or anything but make it like an end of the war type of deal. (like the hangedmen got fed up with all the fighting and finally want to put an end to it) just my idea
Thought this was going to be a meme vid about pop issues on Baker caused by prolonging Charlie's existence. Whole regions went white for hours at a time.
I'm willing to wager that they'll bring in the hanged men as a world event near the end of foxholes life span letting players fight on three fronts. granted having said that, that kind of event would most likely breath more life back into the game then being the final heart beat of the game.
Only way i can see them implemented is as some ragtag group of pirates in a sea update. Sea mining operations would be cool, digging up stranded ships or making small oil rigs for fuel etc...
@@juhotuho10 yea, i meant lorewise you could find their smuggler ships and mine them for components in sea-digging or oil fields could be used for ships etc...
the thing about calling the hanged men petty smugglers could easily just be propaganda so that people dislike them and have a bad opinion like, if a bunch of people were deserting, im sure the government would try to slander them as much as possible
Why do I feel like that the Hanged Men would be a great faction to put solo players into after they get put there by the devs via clan complaints? That sounds like the perfect excuse! 😂
Well the people on the cross may also have been people who tried to desert from the battlefield. Its not uncommen to kill people which were caucht deserting, like hanging people in public. The soldiers should fear doing so after all. And they probably called themselves the hanged man, since they deserted and with that would have been hanged.
I don’t think there should be a third faction until we can get more players. We are already running desperately low on soldiers, splitting the player base even further would be bring an end to the war, which I don’t think anyone would want to see.
As someone who has played planetside religiously since the first one, foxhole does not need an active third faction in game. Fix servers and remove the shards!
Oh so they already know they were going to have balance problems and have a third faction ready to go. Even gave it a story that fits the I'm tired of this imbalance.

I think at the moment the hanged men are just restricted to being places where weapons before the period where both sides lost all of their blueprint can be found but it would be cool if they expanded the hanged men
Neither Warden nor Colonial but a Secret Third Thing
A third playable faction would help the game stay alive for sure and would balance a little bit everything
Those skeletons could've just been dead soldiers from the battle that were posed for a picture or something after the battle took place...
Played both factions and I grew to hate both sides this faction seems perfect for me
I wish I could play as The Hanged Men. Seems right up the alley of an anarchist.
Cringe L ideology. Capitalism pog.
I can see some system where the Hanged Men maybe appear before a war during the prewar phase. And maybe what happens prewar can affect the start of the new war.
"that's literally me"
Jokes aside i do fuck around with everyone for a good time/laugh.
It's not everyday you have conversations with the enemy and planning a massive troll
would be interesting if everytime someone picked their factions they had a random chance to be assigned to the hanged men
I wonder if the relics that both fractions were reverse engineering led into the development of the Super heavy Tank its just my Theory but thinke about the super heavy tanks are will very Advanced looking
Definitely has a different visual theme, good theory
Hold up there’s future tech treasure vaults and lore in this game???
Its tech from a previous generation of war, that was lost. And yes, this game has very odd lore.
You know whose fault it is that the Hanged Men exist?
It’s going to be those darn filthy Collies!
At this point the hanged men are either in their own Atlantis or on the moon.
good video, thank you.
This is like the 5th foreign group mentioned in lore though, I doubt they will add 3rd faction
agreed
The idea of a 3 way war in the future sounds so cool, and with the political side of foxhole I can imagine peace treaties being worked out on certain fronts
Imagine if the hanged men are just players who never came back. Or siege camp themselves....
what causes people to defect?
Well, being forced to do logistics is one of them.
Estrelia just sellin guns to everyone:
Oh nice, bandits, i wanna try that sometime.
(like the hangedmen got fed up with all the fighting and finally want to put an end to it) just my idea
alt faction fr fr💀💀
Thought this was going to be a meme vid about pop issues on Baker caused by prolonging Charlie's existence. Whole regions went white for hours at a time.
I honestly didn't think this game had lore. I thought story was made through the actions of the players.
shit I ran into one of those hidden vaults yesterday I was wondering what it was
There’s one you can still enter
That Callahan fellow looks Familiar..
was one of the demolitionists for one of the vaults, it contained a heavy carrier tank. ngl it kinda sucked.
I'm willing to wager that they'll bring in the hanged men as a world event near the end of foxholes life span letting players fight on three fronts. granted having said that, that kind of event would most likely breath more life back into the game then being the final heart beat of the game.
Me when I make up lore for my alting antics
Woosh its now cannon
so the third faction would just be some scavengers or partisan fighters
Yes and or pirates
Pirates? I hope that implies a naval update
They’ve been in the game for a long time, and the next foxhole update is naval
God I hope so
Only way i can see them implemented is as some ragtag group of pirates in a sea update. Sea mining operations would be cool, digging up stranded ships or making small oil rigs for fuel etc...
they wont be implemented as a third faction, they are just related to lore
@@juhotuho10 yea, i meant lorewise you could find their smuggler ships and mine them for components in sea-digging or oil fields could be used for ships etc...
Those rifles could be either anti tank rifles (like from the early ww2) or anti material rifles (like the Barrett and others). Just my two cents
Pirates huh? Naval update is coming in the next few wars... sure would be cool to add some yellow dots to the game
yes
You have a link to that photo in the thumbnail?
Hit up the guy in my description. He’s on discord.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Hint: cool things to commit in war
war... war...
war atrocities!
hanged men failed the puzzle, hence the name
war crimes
They should fill relic vaults with AI relic zombies and see how it spreads among warden and colonials
That would be an excellent halloween event
Foxhole needs to add a new faction I would like to join the hangedmen
The colonial uniforms in the first seconds of the video look a lot cooler
Fourth faction: Devs "Wars over early boys!" 😂😭
Very cool
The wardens are quite disrespectful on the other hand colonials had open arms for new players often
the thing about calling the hanged men petty smugglers could easily just be propaganda so that people dislike them and have a bad opinion
like, if a bunch of people were deserting, im sure the government would try to slander them as much as possible
CLAN MAN BAD
comment= gooood = yes yes = best comment = all other comments = trash = yes yes
yes yes
Why do I feel like that the Hanged Men would be a great faction to put solo players into after they get put there by the devs via clan complaints? That sounds like the perfect excuse! 😂
Honestly good idea
Тот случай, когда висельники более технологически развиты, чем "правительство".
🏴☠
Hope to see them with naval update.
Well the people on the cross may also have been people who tried to desert from the battlefield. Its not uncommen to kill people which were caucht deserting, like hanging people in public. The soldiers should fear doing so after all. And they probably called themselves the hanged man, since they deserted and with that would have been hanged.
for see more alting lets go
I don’t think there should be a third faction until we can get more players. We are already running desperately low on soldiers, splitting the player base even further would be bring an end to the war, which I don’t think anyone would want to see.
COOL
No one tell this guy about the bronze men or Estrella it'll be funny
Scavs, scavs
yes yes
As someone who has played planetside religiously since the first one, foxhole does not need an active third faction in game.
Fix servers and remove the shards!
Hmm 🤔🤔 the hanged man faction smells reek to me.
😂😂😂
Hmm turning Foxhole into Planetside 2,how bad can it be?
good job devs, a third edge lord faction for the trolls to rally too. Now we will be able to shoot them without getting friendly damage warnings
I should clarify the hanged men are only in the lore
@@beeflord You know whom else has armies that are in the lore, The Wardens and the Colonials. ;)
interesting....
Oh so they already know they were going to have balance problems and have a third faction ready to go. Even gave it a story that fits the I'm tired of this imbalance.
*you see a badly beaten box*
*it starts falling apart with the smallest use of force*
*inside is a piece of dirty cloth*
*inside is wrapped a large metal case*
*inside - another piece of cloth in better condition*
*it looks like a collection of paper ripped out of something*
*the first thing you can make out is the number 1984*
Third faction is 420st
