50% of men are NOT helped by antibiotics. The book he sites, Headache in the Pelvis, say only 5% are helped this way and the rest are nonbacterial pelvic pain. This doc is better than most MDs by far but he didn't read the book very carefully. Stretching, diet, and psychological stress reduction are required typically.

    • @manyourselfup1
      @manyourselfup1  3 года назад +4

The doc read a book from cover to cover. But based on symptoms and physical exam, we are able to distinguished some of the bacterial from the non-bacterial patients. And be careful to not believe everything you read as the overall fact. This is one experience. But they make a comment like that you need to see the whole literature. They have a very highly selective patient group.

    • @spoziscool

It’s always a bacterial infection. The myth of non bacterial Prostatitis arises from the myth that we need to culture a specific organism to know the causation. Look into professor Malone lee, Prostatitis is always an infection.

This condition is demoralizing. I, like many of you have been to many GP's and Urologists. They just prescribe medicine. It's been 10 years that I've been suffering and can't find a doctor that will listen. I've been told it's in my head, and one doctor at UCLA Medical Center told me "how can I treat you for something you don't have" Symptoms come and go, but there's always some type of discomfort. I sure hope this pelvic exercise he's talking about works because I feel I'm running out of options. And now with this pandemic its going to be hard visiting a doctor. Thanks for posting.

This video was great, gives me some hope of recovery.
I’m 35 years old and are having real problem with symptoms we think is prostatitis (pain in balls, perineum, rectum and pelvic) It started rather acute so thought it was bacterial acute prostatitis. Bacteria in urin but no fever.
Was put on antibiotics by a regular doctor but only for 10 days. Nobody mentioned anything about 6weeks. Did mutch better after 4-5 days. Was clear of any symptoms after 10 days. Stopped antibiotics.
Now after 14 days of no pain, I’m having severe pain again. When to a urologist (horrible experience 😂)that said everything looked good and it’s probably just after shook and pelvic pain that will go over with a bit of nsaids.
He knew I only took it for 10-14 days. I have started on my own on a new antibiotics cure to see if this will help again. If it helps I will keep it up for 6 weeks. I will keep you updated. Please make this shit end🙏🏻

Strangely, I do hope it’s prostatitis that I’ve experienced 3 or 4 times over my life. I’m currently 57 years old. The first time, I was given antibiotics after asking, and they seemed to work. I was then offered a prostate exam or urine and blood tests. I’ve had these tests multiple times, and they always came back clear. Most of the time, the issue went away on its own. However, this time during the prostate exam, I was told I have a small nodule on my prostate. I was sent to the hospital for further tests. The doctors mentioned that my prostate isn’t perfect, but it could be due to-you guessed it-prostatitis. After watching a few videos, I realized I have all the symptoms. It explains a lot, considering I’ve dealt with this three times over the past 20 years. Now, I’m scheduled for an MRI, and if that’s not okay, I’ll need a biopsy to check for the big C. I truly hope it’s prostatitis; it’s the first time I’ve even heard of it. Surprisingly, despite visiting my own doctor three times over the years, it was never mentioned. But it all makes sense: ball ache, tender bladder, headache, and pelvic pain.”

Any help would be appreciated !!!Thank you for this great video. I have been suffering from Chronic Pelvic Pain since last 5-6 years. First i thought its just a low back pain because of the long sitting hours but later the pain was accompanied by frequent urination and very little burning sensation with the pelvic pain. I went to a physician who recommended Cefaxime, flomax and citric acid syrup but it did not make any difference. I then visited a urologist who prescribed Doxycycllin, timsulosin and etoricixib for about 20 days. It helped me a little about 5% and then back to the same condition again. I also got the cystoscopy done. I was told i have Prostate grade 1 along with primary bladder neck obstruction.
I feel the pelvic pain 24*7. High urination frequency, difficulty starting the urination, weak urinary stream most of the time.
None of the treatments helped so far. I saw a video on the pelvic floor exercises and it helped a little. I guess the exercise therapy is the only option i am left with.
Anybody who can help please reply with their thoughts because its really affecting my day to day life.

For me, getting into some bad habits after covid would sit in the same place for like 6 hours at a time and I was taking it very seriously. I could feel the burning there but ignored it. Now I’ve completely stopped any gaming and I see improvements already (a few days). I hope it’ll continue.

Great video. Very informative. I had the symptoms of Chronic prostatitis since last June. Had Prostate exam, CT scan of urinary, mri of prostate. I had inflammation around the prostate. I then had to have a cystoscopy to check my bladder was ok. It was. I was then put on Ciprofloxcin for 5 weeks and anti inflammatories. It wasnt until after I finished the course that my sympthoms improved slightly. Over a couple of weeks I had some great days and then it just comes back as bad as before.
I was told after cystoscopy that I had a slightly enlarged prostate BPH. Benign prostate hyperplasia.
My question is does prostatitis cause BPH or does BPH cause prostatitis?
Can you reduce the prostate size without surgery?. I have being reading alot about this but would like your opinion. I am currently taking Vitamin D3, Curcumin and Pumpkin seeds.
I eat no dairy, no spicy food, do not drink alcohol, do not smoke and exercise regularly.
One doctor who deals with alot of BPH patients believes that high blood sugar resulting in Insulin production can cause the Prostate to grow over time. He recommends a zero carbs diet for 12 months. Reading the comments on the video a lot of people seem to have success with this approach. Do you believe Insulin can cause BPH?
For anyone prescribed Ciprofloxcin be warned it can seriously affect your tendons. I had ankle pain for a few weeks in one foot. Could hardly walk. Your achilles tendon could snap as a result. If you have any issues like this tell your doctor.
I would love your opinion on the couple of questions above. Thanks, JohnO.

All prescribed me antibiotics and seems none is working out for me.
Worst part is all doctor told me to change my life time and i got this issue when i actually did change my life style.
So before i got this issue i changed my diet i went from 95 kg to 75 kg and got myself into best shape of my life.
Straight 4 months i was doing heavy resistance training.
I came back from gym after intense workout and that very night i just couldn't stop urinating for the whole night.
Before this issue i had heavy pain at my rectum and was unable to pass my stool.
I ignored it because thinking since im on heavy protein diet. After 2 days the issue went away but like is said thay very night when i came back from gym i just couldn't stop urinating.
As per the video explanation seems like i went through from acute to chronic prostatis.

BruceLee Fannl Imagine you have a Ferrari. Are you gonna keep driving it and filling it up with gas for years on end?
No of course not, the pipes will get blocked. You will service it. Change the oil. Well your body is better than a Ferrari. And when our pipes become blocked vitality is lost. Obstructions will form and toxins will leak into tissues and glands.
      Hello prostatitis.
One of the roles of the kidneys is to eliminate metabolic waste but if they are blocked then that waste can cause issues elsewhere.
A prostate issue is a big problem. It should be a massive wake up call for anyone that the body is in a bad state and so the whole car or rather whole body needs completely serviced, the pipes need cleaned including the kidneys gi tract and elsewhere.
None of this requires vast swathes of money and it actually works unlike the expensive ‘solutions’ urologists have to offer. Just time discipline and the ability to take responsibility as opposed to live life with a victim mentality.

But after that I have been having this pelvic pain and frequent urination. Now I am taking SSRI and Tamsulosin which helps the frequent urination a lot. But this pain is still on going, and I cannot focus, cannot work or study. Not sure what the procedure that I could take from now on. Is Naproxen gonna help with the pain, or the thing that u suggested in the video which u have to insert a capsule in to the butt?

I’m 33 and have had prostatis for 10 years already. Problems come and go. Now I’m worried that this inflammation will cause cancer in the long run. Will it? And I can “cure” my problems by: No alcohol, no bad food like sugar/flour and no ejaculations. All my problems disappear if I stay away from that. It’s not an easy lifestyle.

I've seen seven different Urologists in the past five years and none did anything except shove antibiotics down my throat either orally or by IV (to not further damage my intestinal flora) and ultimately mess up my digestion which took 6 months to get it back on track. I practically had to beg for them to test my urethra to finally find that I had E. coli hanging around which was probably what was causing my prostatitis all those years before but nobody bothered to even test. After three rounds of antibiotics which took months I still can't seem to get rid of it and ended up with even worst symptoms than before like I cannot get an erection and when I do it's semi and I can't last anymore I climax in less than one minute. I don't know what's more sad and pathetic between me being only 32 and having to live with this thinking I don't think I can do it anymore or the Urologists who failed to treat me properly from the beginning. I basically gave up on life, sex, finding someone etc.

I got well a few times but when i would i had zero erection basically all i didwas reduce inflamation thinking that im cured but really i was not. Some advice to my fellow sufferers out there TRY everything and see what works for you i strongly suggest cialis 5mg along with whatever your taking either its antibiotics or supplements or deparisitant, cialis is well known to shrink the prostate.

I hope you guys can get me heading in the right direction! I 53 year old mail. ExTruck driver. I have had lower back problems all my life. Last September 27th 2021 I hurt my back really😅 bad and haven’t been able to work since. I’m not much around the house. I really feel like a disappointment to my wife of 22 years! Anyway, I ended up having a spinal fusion and a cyst removed and several prosthetic disk implants, along with many rods and screws and plates.
One of my doctors visits, with my pain management doctor, before the surgery. I was extremely sick, all of my bones hurt. My lower back on each side hurt working than anything. It was a pain or pressure in my butt bone. I would be constipated with diarrheal, just about every day. If I ate, I would get bloated, And have severe lower back pain/ pressure. Urinating or poop I would really ease my pain! I have also had an UTI for over a year now. I will get really sick go to my GP and he keeps saying I have an UTI and proctitis. Stay on 🐜 for another month! Which I have been on the antibiotics for problems just over a months. 10-7-22 I finished a 3 month round of antibiotics. I was off of them for 7 days. I got really sick again and I’m back on the antibiotics. For some reason, it’s really difficult to get an appointment with a urologist. It takes about 2-3 months to get in to see one. The first time I saw my urologist, I was on the antibiotics and didn’t have a UTI, they did a test on my bladder and blood work but found nothing. I have seen this urologist again last week. And so far the same results. It still hurts when I pee and I still have the severe pain/pressure in my butt bone,!that is relived some,by urinating or pooping. And on top of all this, I have thrush in my mouth!! Please help if possible.

Can there be still bacteria causing this issue? because it started with one, no culture was done in the beginning so no clue of which kind of bacteria it could be, but antibiotic did work for the discharge and pain in the beginning. I am pretty disappointed that all you offer for nerve pain are anti depressants. Will you ever learn that anti depressants do not cure nerve pain? They numb general pain perception. Once you stop taking them, you feel all the pain again. Why do I have to tell you this? You are supposed to know better.

The explanations provided here are embarrassing. Prostate issues are not complex. It's just a gland and when your body is full of waste it fills up like a garbage can. Y'all need to take responsibility and fix it.

Alan Kay so your experience of one patient trumps my seven years of training and 17 years in practice? 🤔

@marco polo Make me big guy. The guy doing these videos should STOP. He seemingly has not cured anyone have 'prostatitus' - only made them feel a little better with exercises. Guys reading this: Hello there. Listen up, it's not real. Prostate issues are just a side effect of modern living. To cure yourself change your consciousness. View the body as a whole and leave allopathic medicine behind you. When you do you'll see how returning your prostate to a situation of balance is simple. Such Doctors as this guy will waste your time and money using big words and unnecessary procedures, and ultimately he knows nothing when compared to you as it is your prostate, your body and this is your life experience. Cleanse your liver. Cleanse your kidneys. Clean your bowels. Do what it takes. Go low protein. Eat high vibrational foods. Stop eating obstructive foods. Make your own probiotics and consume daily. Walk barefoot. Move your body - rebound, walk, run. And sweat like a lesbian in a fish market, Saunas FTW. Get the waste out of your body because health is based on what you eliminate, and if you are not eliminating you are accumulating. And if you do indeed change your consciousness and demonstrate the discipline to return to balance you wont need to waste time throwing money at this doctor obsessing over bacteria and such nonsense.
