- The setup for my Icom IC-705 in my 2001 Ford Ranger was less than ideal. I aim to change that by installing a LIDO Mount in the truck.

I must look into your setup for my F-150 and IC-706 for now. Came across an affordable remote faceplate from HRCC discord and once it makes it back from scout camp, in one piece, I need to mount it into my truck. Thanks for the inspirational video!

I'll have to check that mount out for my f-150. I was also looking at the cup holder version. I have the bench seats in the truck and can do the same thing. Thanks for the ideas.
I'm looking at after market seats for this truck and part of the consideration is "Will it let me use my LIDO mount?"
I do have the Lido cup holder mount for my 705 and it works good. I’ve used it on POTA roves so the radio can remain in place in between parks.
I see another LIDO in my near future.
